Goodbye Walmart: this is the chain that will open 21 stores in the USA very soon

Walmart faces new competition with the opening of 21 stores of a brand that promises to revolutionize the market

The competition in the supermarket world keeps evolving. More and more chains are trying to capture consumers' attention with offers and accessible stores. In this context, a brand much loved by many shoppers has decided to expand rapidly in the United States.

It's Trader Joe's, a brand that has gained fame for offering quality products at low prices, even cheaper than Walmart. To the delight of its followers, Trader Joe's has announced the opening of 21 new locations in 2025, adding to the two that have already opened recently.

The Arrival of New Trader Joe's: An Expansion That Excites

The wait to know the official opening dates has been long, but there are now updates that leave no one indifferent. On May 29, a new Trader Joe's will open in Bellingham, Washington, a city where it has been a reference for almost two decades. This new establishment, called "Bellingham (North)," will be located in a former Bed Bath & Beyond store that closed last year, reports The Sun.

This opening will be the third of the 21 new branches planned for this year. Additionally, Trader Joe's keeps the exact dates for the rest a secret, but it is known that there will be locations in different states. In fact, in Tennessee and Seattle, they already opened locations in early April, marking the start of a great expansion.

Trader Joe's has become a symbol for many shoppers seeking quality and savings. On social media, many claim that shopping at this chain helps them significantly reduce their weekly expenses.

More Stores, More Options: Where the New Locations Will Be

Trader Joe's plans for 2025 include new establishments in different regions of the country. Some of the already confirmed openings are Hoover (Alabama), Sherman Oaks, Tracy, Yucaipa, Tarzana, and Northridge (California), Westminster (Colorado), New Orleans (Louisiana), and Boston (Massachusetts).

There will also be new branches in Woodbridge (New Jersey), Staten Island, and Glenmont (New York). In addition to Oklahoma City (Oklahoma), Exton and Berwyn (Pennsylvania), Myrtle Beach (South Carolina), San Antonio (Texas), and, of course, in Bellingham (Washington).

This growth adds to the popularity that Trader Joe's has kept since its arrival in Bellingham in 2007. The city became an important point because many shoppers crossed from Canada to take advantage of the offer. Although that trend has decreased, the firm continues to bet on this region, consolidating with this new opening that adds to the original store.

The news of these openings has caused great expectation among consumers and industry experts, who see in this brand a strong competitor for other giants like Walmart. For now, we can only wait for the official confirmation of the inauguration dates to enjoy these new options.
