The Call Traffic of Prosecutor García Ortiz That Draws Significant Attention

UCO agents specifically highlight the 'extraordinary activity' on the prosecutor's phone

The latest report from the UCO continues to tighten the noose around Prosecutor García Ortiz. The agents have highlighted the "extraordinary activity" in phone calls recorded by the Attorney General on March 13, 2024. A call traffic that, compared to other days, intensified.

That date corresponds to just before several media outlets published verbatim excerpts from the email. The same one that was exchanged on February 2 between the lawyer of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's boyfriend and Prosecutor Julián Salto.

This detail is included in the report that police investigators sent to Judge Ángel Hurtado this Monday, which El Debate has reported. The document details the incoming and outgoing calls from García Ortiz's mobile lines. All recorded by telephone companies during the time period indicated by the Supreme Court.

In the first company, the calls are of a family nature. Meanwhile, with the second operator, 27 communications were recorded between 8:00 PM and 12:00 AM on the same day.

This is double the usual in his records, and even more so compared to the previous days, since March 8. Precisely when the Prosecutor's Office learned the identity of Alberto González Amador due to his romantic relationship with the President of the Community of Madrid.

On that same night of March 13, the investigators concluded that there was no call or attempt to communicate. At least outside the scope of the Prosecutor's Office, with a single exception. That of journalist Miguel Ángel Campos Peñarroja, from the Ser network, who published a digital article at 11:51 PM.

It is there where excerpts from the February 2 email between González Amador's lawyer and the Prosecutor's Office were included. Precisely, that email is being investigated in the open case against García Ortiz.

Twist in the Case of Prosecutor García Ortiz with a Colossal Confirmation from the UCO

Determinant is the latest accreditation from the UCO about the Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz. The prosecutor is in one of his worst moments after the brutal revelation.

The truth is that the UCO has sent a new report to Supreme Court Judge Ángel Hurtado. In this document, it is accredited that the Attorney General deleted his WhatsApp messages "on two occasions" last October 16.

This date coincides with the day it was decided to open a case against Álvaro García Ortiz for a crime of revealing secrets. Allegedly committed with the leak of confidential data of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's boyfriend.

However, it is not the only deletion accredited by the UCO. They point out that García Ortiz has "recently" deleted his personal Gmail account.

According to the document accessed by the newspaper El Mundo, they explain that the recovery of data of interest has been impossible. Some data in backup copies stored in the Google Drive service.

"It has not been possible due to the deliberate deletion of the Google account associated with this service."

Despite this, the agents indicate that Google has stated that "perhaps" the content of said account can be recovered.
