Social Media Erupt Against Óscar Puente After Spreading a Fake Photo of Abascal
The "Tweeter" minister tried to ridicule Santiago Abascal with a fake photo
The Socialist Minister of Transport Óscar Puente is once again at the center of controversy on social media. This time, it has to do with spreading a fake photo of Santiago Abascal. The PSOE's "tweeter" used his social media again to try to ridicule the president of VOX; however, he has become the object of mockery himself.
There is no certainty that Pedro Sánchez's minister realized from the beginning that the photo he was posting was fake. However, after several comments comparing the original photo with the fake one, it became clear that Puente promoted a "hoax" from his social media. It is important to note that he didn't rectify it, let alone apologize for spreading a fake image that he used to attack the leader of the third political force.
From his X account, where he has more than 250,000 followers, the Socialist Minister posted the following:
Pointed beard so no one notices he has no chin. On tiptoes because Lepen is taller than him. Shirts 3 sizes smaller to show off little muscles.
And no public appearances so no one notices his empty brain.
PERSONAL INSECURITY by definition.
Attached the following fake photo:

After the obvious montage made with Santiago Abascal's photo, social media exploded against Sánchez's minister.
The X user, @paulsito, said the following to debunk the fake image spread by the PSOE's "tweeter".
Look how stupid they are that they even lie about this.

That was not all, however. Hours after spreading the fake image, Óscar Puente decided to retweet his post, proud of the reach he had achieved with a fake photo.
The tweet was already a hit at 11:30. But it was when Abascal and his followers woke up around 3:00 PM that it was on its way to two million views.
For this reason, Pedro Sánchez's minister has received a flood of criticism on social media for his hypocrisy about false information. Since the government he works for claims to "combat hoaxes." The minister has nonetheless echoed a fake image and is also proud of having done so after his Retweet.
