The gag order is lifted on the investigation of Aldama for hydrocarbon fraud.
The judge believes that interference or manipulation aimed at obstructing the investigation can no longer be allowed.
The hydrocarbons case focusing on Aldama enters a new stage. The judge of the National Court, Santiago Pedraz, has agreed to lift the secrecy of the investigation in the case of the alleged hydrocarbons fraud.
Among others, the alleged fixer of the PSOE case, Víctor de Aldama, is being investigated for crimes against the Public Treasury, belonging to a criminal organization, and money laundering.
The magistrate explains in his order, reported by Europa Press, that in the current state of the case, there will be no obstacles. It is considered that the knowledge and intervention of the investigated individuals can no longer lead to:
"Interferences or manipulations aimed at obstructing the investigation in its objective of discovering the truth of the facts." For this reason, he indicates, the reasons that justified maintaining the secrecy until today have disappeared.
The resolution concludes: "It is therefore appropriate to lift the measure of secrecy of proceedings. Which was currently in force over the entire case, agreed under the provisions of Article 302 of the Criminal Procedure Law. Therefore, the parties can become aware of the proceedings and argue, prove, and intervene in the opposing evidence, controlling its correct practice and having the possibility to contradict it."
The Phone That Threatens Moncloa is Returned to Aldama with Hundreds of Data
Víctor de Aldama regains access to his mobile phone, and Moncloa should tremble. The delivery by the National Court occurs after the data extraction from Aldama's device, once he was arrested on October 7.
All this was within the framework of the hydrocarbons scheme. The amount of data collected is substantial. It is a terabyte of data now in the possession of both the businessman and the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, to proceed with the device's cleaning.
The newspaper La Razón has confirmed that it is a terabyte of data, which has been extracted and returned to Aldama. The Civil Guard has thus completed the study of the terminal. Aldama himself has already hinted that this phone could contain very compromising information for Moncloa.
It should be noted that Aldama himself has always been willing to cooperate and collaborate. Both with the proceedings on the 'Koldo case' and on this hydrocarbons fraud scheme. This latter case remains under secrecy of investigation in the National Court.
Such has been Aldama's collaboration that he has facilitated both access to the encrypted data and outlined the roadmap in their investigations. All to find the decisive material that could implicate members of Pedro Sánchez's government.
Months in which the UCO has emphasized the data extraction from the mobile phone that Aldama now has access to on a platform.
