The Government of Pedro Sánchez is once again in the media spotlight. Following the scandalous revelation of the alleged bank accounts of his wife, Begoña Gómez, and several high-ranking government officials in the Dominican Republic, PSOE is once again shaken. EDATV has gained exclusive access to the nominal complaint that has been anonymized to safeguard the identity of the complainant.
The document, which was submitted to the Special Prosecutor's Office against corruption and organized crime, consists of 9 pages. In these, what could be a presumed criminal network is explained, in which high-ranking government officials and the president's wife, Sánchez, are allegedly involved. In addition to these, other figures have already been implicated in several scandals of the 'Koldo plot.'

The complaint was filed on January 13 of the current year, and it was presented with attached information as evidence for the Justice to begin the pertinent investigations. However, on January 22, just when businessman Víctor De Aldama made the information about the bank accounts in the Dominican Republic public, the Prosecutor's Office archived the complaint.

Years of Investigation in Nine Days?
According to what the Prosecutor's Office communicated to the complainant, the serious complaint was archived because "they had already investigated it and it was false information." But something doesn't add up.
From this media outlet, we are not questioning the work of the Special Prosecutor's Office; however, it is quite curious that, in such a few days, they verified foreign accounts and document authenticity. It is striking that an investigation that usually lasts years was completed in nine days.
In fact, the complainant, who has requested anonymity, explicitly said the following:
For the reasons stated above, I thank you in advance for kindly analyzing and verifying the information provided.
But the complaint was archived without contacting the complainant, coinciding very curiously with Pedro Sánchez's announcement about the large sum approved for institutional advertising.
Questions arise about the decision to archive a case just hours after Aldama made it public. The controversy lies in the fact that, as reported, the communication of criminal indications was in process and had been made available to the prosecutor's office. This was to clarify or expand the necessary information.
The event has provoked criticism and speculation about the procedure followed and the reasons behind this prompt resolution, generating doubts about the transparency in the management of the case.
So much so that during Aldama's interview on COPE, he warned the following:
I have seen that complaint in the Prosecutor's Office, which has an entry stamp since January 13, but I don't know if it is being investigated.
Regarding the evidence, which can't be published, Aldama has revealed the following:
I have seen the screenshots of the accounts, the account numbers, and the deposits. It is well tied up, and there will be some very uncomfortable surprises for the president's wife and some government members.
