The secretary who validated the file of Sánchez's brother didn't require a degree.
In David Sánchez's file, it doesn't state that he validated the music studies he completed in Russia.
Sánchez's brother continues to make headlines after new information about his file came to light. David Sánchez remains at the center of controversy regarding his job position and how he secured that spot in the Provincial Council.
This new information relates to the qualifications presented by the musician. According to the newspaper El Debate, it claims that Sánchez's brother didn't have an accredited university degree.
According to the aforementioned source, the file of the head of the Executive's brother is located in an office of the provincial corporation. It is precisely there where it doesn't show that he carried out any procedure to validate the musical studies he completed in Russia to make them valid in Spain.

The big question is who validated that file knowing the irregularity. It is the former head of Human Resources Management Services, Félix González Márquez, affiliated with the PSOE, as reported by the mentioned newspaper.
It should be noted that among the job requirements was holding a degree as a senior music teacher. David Sánchez indicated in his application that he had those studies.
He also added that "also in orchestra conducting and another specialty," without specifying which one. These two claims helped him score higher than the other candidates for the position. In fact, he received the highest evaluation.

Félix González Márquez was then the secretary of the committee that evaluated the candidates. However, he didn't require the title from Sánchez's brother as he did with the other musicians who applied for the position.
Another candidate of Armenian origin did present his accredited title, as required by the regulations. However, with David Sánchez, it was overlooked.
In the curriculum he presented to the Provincial Council, he claims to have graduated from the chairs "Composition and Professor of Music Theory." Also in "Operatic and Symphony Orchestra Conducting" at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg State Conservatory. This is reflected in the curriculum reported by EDATV.
The Socialist Who Evaluated Sánchez's Brother Denies Being at the Interview
The case of Sánchez's brother continues to be a topic of discussion. The position held by David Sánchez is more in question than ever, and Judge Biedma is focusing on it.
Recall that the position held by Sánchez's brother is thanks to a subjective interview.
Additionally, Cristina Núñez assessed the final candidate's suitability according to her own criteria. That interview was key "especially, the reply to the questions" asked in an interview.
However, the socialist admitted to the judge that she didn't conduct them, despite having signed otherwise. An interview that the musician didn't remember in detail during the trial.
Just twenty minutes of interview led to Sánchez's brother securing the position in the Provincial Council. A position with a salary that, in 2023, already amounted to €53,890.63 ($57,000.00) annually.
Cristina Núñez, socialist deputy delegate of the Area of Culture, Youth, and Social Welfare, was the one who signed the document. By which, Sánchez's brother was chosen over other candidates.
That interview was recorded, as stated in the file, on June 27, 2017. According to the minutes, the aforementioned Cristina Núñez was present, along with Elisa Moriano, director of the Area of Culture. Manuel Candalija, head of the Cultural Activities Service, and Félix González, head of Human Resources Management Service.
The truth is that, despite her name appearing in the minutes, Núñez denied in court having been present during the interviews.
"When the interviews are conducted, no, I am there before the interviews begin. I go in to greet those who are inside the commission to have them explain a bit about how the follow-up is going to be, how they have it planned."
The socialist deputy, in addition to denying her presence, explained that the creation of the position was a proposal from the area of Culture.
This initiative was created "after conducting a study and an assessment of the needs of the different bodies. Those that make up the area of culture." All when Elisa Moriano was then the director.
