Sánchez's meeting that led to an increase in investments in Begoña's software
In December 2022, Google signed a sponsorship agreement with Universidad Complutense
Begoña Gómez keeps making headlines. Thanks to a meeting between the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, Begoña Gómez benefited.
More specifically, Google finally allocated an investment of 110,000 euros to develop software related to the Chair of Competitive Social Transformation. Let's remember that it's led by Begoña Gómez at the Complutense University of Madrid.
Okdiario confirms this. In December 2022, Google signed a sponsorship agreement with the Complutense University, initially committing to an investment of 40,000 euros. However, the company decided to increase its contribution by an additional 70,000 euros, arguing that the project's technical complexity had grown during its development.
The initiative aimed to create an online platform to help small and medium-sized enterprises. Help plan and measure the impact of their goals related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of the agreement, Google would gain recognition, including the appearance of its brand at the platform's launch and promotional announcements about its services aimed at SMEs.

According to the media, nine months before the agreement was formalized, Sánchez met with the CEO of Google in March 2022. During this meeting, the President of the Government highlighted the country's digitalization as a strategic priority. Announced an investment plan of 20,000 million euros to accelerate digital transformation in Spain.
The Strange Movements in Her Bank Accounts
Pedro Sánchez's wife changed the numbering of the two bank accounts where she received payments from the Complutense University over a period of nine years, from 2014 to 2023.
The Objective confirms this. On November 18, the bank of the investigated party delivered the first documentation to the investigating judge.

In it, according to the media, the IBANs of the deposits corresponding to the payments made by the Complutense University to Begoña Gómez were not included. That's why the information was considered "incomplete."
In reply, Peinado requested clarifications from the bank, given that, in addition, the nine accounts showed a balance of zero. While the accounts at Santander and ING barely totaled 40.25 euros at that time.
The payments made by the Complutense University to Begoña Gómez totaled 24,723 euros until 2022. They were deposited in an account ending in 3436 throughout that time. However, in the 2022/23 period, a final payment of 15,000 euros was recorded in a different account, with the final numbering 2735.
The reason why both accounts were not mentioned in the first report is that Begoña requested a change in the numbering. This when transferring the accounts to a new office located at Guabairo Street 34, in Carabanchel. The newspaper confirms this.
In the second report sent to the magistrate, the entity informs the judge that two of Begoña Gómez's five accounts have experienced a change in numbering. Still, the document doesn't specify when this change was made. However, as the media points out, everything indicates it was after the university's last payment in 2023.
The affected accounts, ending in 3436 and 2735, were used by the university to make the payments. Both were opened in 2004 and 1996, respectively.
