The New Order From the Islamic State to Commit Massive Attacks in Europe

The streets are full of targets. Run them over!

Terrorist attacks in Europe are on the rise. European authorities have raised alarms following the spread on social media of a new propaganda campaign attributed to the Islamic State. The message, published by the unofficial platform Al Saif Media, urges jihadists to carry out vehicle attacks against crowds in cities across the continent.

The propaganda material, joined by a graphic circulating on digital platforms, delivers a direct message:

What are you waiting for? The streets are full of targets. Run them over!

Among the possible scenarios mentioned for these attacks are Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Vienna, Brussels, Antwerp, and Salzburg. The dissemination of this content has raised concerns among European security forces. They have intensified their surveillance efforts in light of the possibility that these calls to violence could inspire new attacks.

Belgium Raises Security Alert Amid Threat of Terrorist Attacks

Belgian authorities have described the recent propaganda campaign linked to the Islamic State as a "very serious" threat. The Coordination Unit for Threat Analysis has raised the security alert level to "severe," the third on a four-level scale.

In this scenario, Antwerp Police have reinforced surveillance in areas with a high Jewish population. They also warned that the conflict in the Middle East continues to have repercussions in Europe.

We are monitoring the situation and can react quickly if necessary.

From the European Parliament, some legislators have urged the strengthening of security measures. Swedish MEP Charlie Weimers has called for a firmer response, warning that Europe must "wake up" before the situation spirals out of control.

Similarly, Croatian politician Stephen Bartulica has pointed out the lack of effective policies against radicalization, describing it as an "internal enemy" that continues to grow without a strong response.

Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, fears for national security are also increasing. A counterterrorism expert warned in statements to The European Conservative that the country could become a "global power base" for extremists. This is due to the growth of sectarian voting and the lack of effective strategies to combat radicalization.

In an attempt to curb violence, the British government has implemented restrictions on the sale of knives to those under 18, although some experts consider this measure insufficient.

The threat of jihadist terrorism remains present in Europe, with extremist groups trying to exploit sociopolitical tensions to expand their influence. Security forces remain on high alert to prevent this new wave of propaganda from leading to attacks on European soil.
