Ábalos's friend, Jésica, is once again making headlines. More so after the shocking revelation about how Ábalos accessed her with Koldo as an intermediary.
The information revealed by THE OBJECTIVE indicates that Ábalos chose Jésica from a catalog of prostitutes that Koldo kept on his phone. This news has set off alarms in the country and caused a scandal. However, many users on social media and on the street doubted the "intimate relationship or friendship" that Ábalos and Jésica might have had.
Although Ábalos never acknowledged how he met Jésica, this revelation from the mentioned media outlet has been harshly commented on.
However, once that relationship was proven, it is worth recalling how much money the scheme allocated to Jésica.
The UCO estimates the payments at 88,000 euros for 32 monthly installments for a top-level apartment in the Torre de Madrid building in Plaza de España. However, the 2,700 euros per month that the 'Ábalos scheme' covered for Jésica are only part of the payments made during the two years of their relationship.
In the first seven months alone, Jésica requested a total of 39,300 euros for joining the then Minister of Transport. This amount of money for 33 official trips and party events. According to several media outlets.
According to the information published by THE OBJECTIVE, emails revealed the excessive amount of money Jésica asked Ábalos for per trip. Supposedly, the young woman demanded a fee of 1,500 euros per day from the former minister for each accompaniment during the first months.
However, these amounts decreased over time, as Jésica reproached Ábalos in a new email, according to the mentioned digital publication. In these communications, dated July 2019, the young woman acknowledged the payments made by the then Minister and Secretary of Organization of the PSOE. But she also complained about the reduction in her income:
If you see the amounts you used to give me compared to what you give me now, it makes me laugh. Last month you gave me 1,200 euros.
In fact, according to THE OBJECTIVE, the young woman received between 6,000 and 12,000 euros monthly. Between the 2,700 euros monthly payment for the rent of an apartment in Plaza de España (Madrid). Plus her employment in two public companies (Ineco and Tragsatec).
In addition to the 1,500 euros she averaged for each trip in which she joined the Minister of Transport.
Jésica's Request to Be Removed from an 'Escorts' Website
The documents accessed by THE OBJECTIVE show Jésica in a suggestive position, sometimes naked and other times in lingerie. These images were then featured on several prostitution websites, although they were later deleted.
