García Ortiz appeared last Wednesday as a defendant before Judge Ángel Hurtado of the Supreme Court. He is being investigated for a possible disclosure of secrets in the tax fraud investigation affecting Alberto González Amador, Ayuso's boyfriend.
After a statement of approximately an hour and a half, the Attorney General left the High Court looking calm.
García Ortiz attended the appointment in his capacity as Attorney General. This happened after the Supreme Court's Administrative Chamber decided unanimously to keep him in his position. This was after rejecting the appeal filed by the Professional and Independent Association of Prosecutors (APIF in Spanish), which requested the termination of his appointment.

This has been the first testimony of the head of the Public Ministry as a defendant before a court.
However, in his reply to the State Attorney, Ortiz denied on several occasions, having leaked said "email," neither to journalists nor to any member of Moncloa.
This is how the avalanche of boos against García Ortiz was upon his arrival at the Supreme Court
The Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz, appeared last Wednesday as a defendant before the Supreme Court. All for an alleged crime of disclosure of secrets in the case related to Alberto González Amador. The latter is the boyfriend of the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso.
Álvaro García Ortiz's statement began at 10:00 a.m. and took place after the judge postponed this appointment following a request from the State Attorney.
However, García Ortiz's arrival was a wave of boos from those crowding at the Supreme Court's doors.
Citizens present at the Supreme Court dedicated shouts and whistles against the Attorney General. The picture has quickly gone viral on social media.
All despite the attempt by the public broadcaster RTVE to silence those boos live, barely allowing the ambient sound to be heard.
