The favor Aldama asked of Montero's 'number two' that puts the minister in check
The Guardia Civil has found these messages in the analysis of the new investigated device
The name of Víctor de Aldama is making waves again. It has been the UCO that has found new communications between the businessman and the circle of María Jesús Montero. Those contacts between Aldama and the number two of Minister Montero have been found in the analysis of the new terminal.
That first message was sent by Aldama to Carlos Moreno on June 30, 2020. Aldama started that message: "Hello Carlos, good afternoon. This is the CIF of the company".
That text was followed by an image with the businessman's company data, Pilo Real Estate. In fact, in the message itself, Aldama assures that he is the owner. And then he goes on to ask the following:
"The debt is currently at 550,000 euros (approximately 606,271 dollars) more or less. We would put 250,000 (approximately 275,123 dollars) and the rest, an agreement over 5 years, if possible. Hug and thanks," he noted.
This would be another piece of evidence that would corroborate what Aldama declared in the National Court, and it is that request to Moreno. Furthermore, he confirmed that Montero's number two ended up granting it to him. And he added that he later gave him an envelope with 25,000 euros (approximately 27,512 dollars).
Money that the businessman would have given, according to him, in gratitude, and he handed it over in a bar in the company of Koldo. However, Montero's number two has always denied receiving that money.
Koldo, meanwhile, has admitted that the three of them met in a bar, just as Aldama specified. But that no cash delivery took place.
In an exchange of messages, a possible meeting regarding his tax situation is suggested. "Hello Carlos, good evening, how are you for a coffee tomorrow?"
To which Moreno responds: "Hello Víctor, complicated, to be honest. We're swamped. I'm still working".
It should be remembered that so far only messages corresponding to previous and subsequent months have been partially recovered. The link between Moreno and Aldama was thanks to Koldo García, who months earlier had already had a relationship with Montero's right-hand man. All for matters requested by the businessman.
The PSOE trembles because of Aldama and asks the judge to send him to prison
The PSOE closes ranks around Pedro Sánchez. This time it is Aldama who puts Pedro Sánchez against the ropes, and his party knows it. So much so that, although they asked that the parties not be part of the popular accusations, they now ask for prison for Aldama.
Specifically, they urge Judge Pedraz for the "provisional imprisonment" of the businessman. All due to "the risk posed to the success of the investigation" while he remains free.
According to a document reported by Europa Press, the socialists ask Magistrate Pedraz to send Aldama to jail. According to them, "to prevent the concealment, alteration, or destruction of sources of evidence relevant to the prosecution".
According to the socialists: "The reasons that supported this release in the present procedure by a statement of the investigated provided in another case have been disappointed. The supposed collaboration with justice offered by Víctor de Aldama was a fallacy. His accusations directed at third parties haven't been corroborated with evidence".
Sánchez's party fears that "the maneuvers of the investigated, once released, to traffic with case documentation". All because Aldama left in the custody of Luis Alberto Escolano, his trusted man, "sensitive documentation" related to the Venezuelan public company PDVSA.
