'Rain and storms on...': last-minute warning for this Saturday from Roberto Brasero
The expert warns of two situations that may occur and could bring rain and storms to different areas of Spain.
Experts have been warning for days about the sudden weather change that will arrive this Friday, with rain and snow in various parts of Spain. However, according to meteorologist Roberto Brasero, these adverse conditions could extend beyond Friday. They would continue to affect the weekend, depending on how the front evolves.
A fast-moving front, but with possible consequences
According to Roberto Brasero, the front that will bring rain and snow on Friday won't take long to leave Spain. Initially, its passage will be relatively quick, and by Saturday morning it should already be moving away. Even so, during the early hours of the day, rain could still be recorded in some areas, especially in the southern and eastern peninsular regions.

What creates the most uncertainty in the forecast is the final trajectory of the front, says Roberto Brasero. There are two main scenarios regarding how and where it will leave us. Each would have different consequences for Saturday's weather.
Two possible scenarios for Saturday: Roberto Brasero explains
The first scenario suggests that the front would move away to the south. In this case, on Saturday we could still have rain and even storms in Andalusia. It would especially be in its western part and areas near the Strait of Gibraltar.
The second scenario Roberto Brasero talks about, however, is more complex and would have greater implications. If instead of exiting through the south it did so through the east, it could lead to the formation of a storm in the Mediterranean.

This would bring rain and storms to the far eastern peninsular, the Strait, and the Balearic Islands. In this case, the precipitation would be more intense and could affect areas like the Valencian Community, Catalonia, and the Balearic Islands during Saturday.
Sunday, a more stable day but with cold
Regardless of which trajectory the front finally takes, what seems clear is that by Sunday there will no longer be rain in any of these regions. The precipitation will cease, and the weather will tend to stabilize throughout the country.

What Roberto Brasero has assured is that temperatures will be colder than in recent days, although not extremely low. It will be a winter atmosphere, but within normal values for the month of February.
Stay tuned for weather updates
Given that the evolution of the front still presents uncertainty, it's important to stay tuned to weather forecasts in the coming hours. Depending on its movement, Saturday could be a stormy day in Andalusia or with rain in the Mediterranean and Balearic Islands.
Therefore, those with plans for the weekend should be alert to updates, as the situation can still change.
