Santander and Telefónica reveal the winning startups and scaleups of the latest global challenge
Banco Santander continues to bet on innovation and digital transformation in the financial sector. With a future vision focused on improving the experience, it has joined forces with Telefónica to launch the global challenge New Era of Customer Experience.
This challenge, which has brought together startups from 11 countries, has identified revolutionary solutions that will mark a turning point in personalization and security within the sector. Now, the winning startups and scaleups have been announced at a key event for the entrepreneurial ecosystem, the 4YFN in Barcelona, the meeting associated with the Mobile World Congress.

Banco Santander's Bet on Innovation and the Digital Future
The challenge launched by Banco Santander and Telefónica in collaboration with the Oxentia Foundation has sought the most innovative solutions to improve the relationship between companies and customers. The initiative has focused on advanced digital tools that allow optimizing personalization, service quality, and anti-fraud security.
The participating companies have had access to advanced technological environments, such as Telefónica's Sandbox, and the capabilities of Open Gateway. This is a global project that transforms telecommunications networks into developer-ready platforms. This technological integration allows for improved interaction with customers and offers more efficient services.
The challenge has recognized three international startups that are developing innovative solutions to transform the customer experience. From the United Kingdom, EV8 Switch has presented software that guides companies and consumers in the transition to electric vehicles, optimizing planning, charging, and consumption.

Also from the United Kingdom, Arcube has been awarded for its data analysis platform that allows companies in the travel sector to generate revenue through personalized loyalty programs. From the United States, Lumen has stood out with a tool based on generative artificial intelligence that improves customer service and technical support.
In addition to the startups, three Spanish scaleups have been recognized for their innovative technological solutions. Froged, an omnichannel platform, centralizes and personalizes customer interaction across different channels, turning service into a business growth opportunity.
WIVI Vision has impressed with its technology based on 3D video games and artificial intelligence, designed to diagnose and treat visual problems in children. 3DDigital Venue, meanwhile, has developed a 3D visualization tool that transforms ticket sales and event management, improving interaction with the audience.

Banco Santander Boosts Entrepreneurship with Awards
The winners have received a total of 120,000 euros in prizes, with 30,000 euros allocated to the startups and 90,000 euros for the scaleups. In addition to the financial recognition, the selected companies will have access to Santander X 100, a global community of outstanding startups and scaleups within the bank's innovation ecosystem.
They will also be able to connect with Fintech Station, Banco Santander's Open Innovation area, which will allow them to access new development and collaboration opportunities with the entity.
