Total Euphoria With Banco Santander's Latest: It's Official, It Returns for Another Year
Santander launches the IX edition of 'De Mujer a Mujer' to support the employability of victims of gender-based violence
Customers of Banco Santander are in luck. For many women, finding a job opportunity is not just an economic issue but a crucial step to regain their independence and start anew. Aware of this, Banco Santander and Fundación Integra have relaunched one of their most transformative initiatives.
The ninth edition of 'De Mujer a Mujer' is already underway. It is a mentoring program that offers support, training, and guidance to women who have been victims of gender-based violence in Spain.

For six months, 15 women will receive support from professionals at Banco Santander. They will become their mentors to guide them on the path to a new professional life.
This project has changed the reality of many participants in previous editions. Thus, the bank helps them not only to get a job but also to strengthen their self-esteem and believe in their own abilities.
Banco Santander Supports Employability of Women Victims of Gender-Based Violence
The 'De Mujer a Mujer' initiative is a corporate volunteering program that seeks more than just inserting women into the labor market. Through mentoring, participants work on their personal and professional development with the support of mentors from Banco Santander. Thus, they provide them with tools, guidance, and confidence to successfully face the job search process.

In the first phase, the 15 professionals who have decided to join as mentors have received specific training on support techniques and personal development. With this preparation, they will be ready to offer comprehensive support. They will guide them in key aspects such as career planning, job interview preparation, and improving their communication skills.
In addition to individual mentoring, the program includes workshops and group sessions where essential aspects for job access are worked on. From empowerment dynamics to job interview simulations, each activity is designed for participants to gain confidence and acquire practical tools for their labor insertion.
An Initiative with Real Impact on the Lives of Many Women
Since its launch in 2017, 'De Mujer a Mujer' has joined 119 women in their process of labor reintegration. The results speak for themselves: 83% of them have obtained a job that has allowed them to regain the economic and emotional independence they so needed.

Many of these women have qualified training, but personal difficulties and lack of opportunities have been obstacles to accessing the labor market. Thanks to this program, they have managed to improve their professional skills and increase their confidence to face new opportunities.
Success stories in previous editions have been an inspiration for new participants. Women who, after experiencing difficult situations, have managed to reintegrate into the labor world, start a new stage, and in many cases, become role models for others going through similar circumstances.
