'More Than Usual': Roberto Brasero Foresees the Drastic Shift We Will Notice Right Away
Roberto Brasero, meteorologist from Antena 3, has forecasted the spring weather we will have in the coming days
Roberto Brasero, a renowned meteorologist from Antena 3, already predicted in his latest forecast "a very spring-like Valentine's Day." This past February 14, temperatures surprised many, reaching values more typical of April than mid-February.
Cities like Valencia, Murcia, and Málaga recorded highs close to 75°F (24°C). In fact, they were between 9°F and 18°F (5 and 10°C) above the usual in many areas of the inland peninsula.

Roberto Brasero Confirms the Arrival of Spring-Like Weather
Spring seems to have arrived earlier than usual. At least, that's what Roberto Brasero has assured. In his latest forecast, the meteorologist indicated that temperatures, far from dropping, would continue to provide us with quite spring-like weather.
In fact, for this very Saturday, this stable weather is expected to continue, despite some morning fog. Although clouds will increase from the west, precipitation will be scarce. Only light rain is expected on the Galician Atlantic coast, joined by strong southern wind gusts.
Areas like the coast and pre-coastal regions of Catalonia, the Balearic Islands, and Castellón could also experience an increase in cloudiness, with a few drops. But the atmosphere will be more spring-like than usual, especially considering the season, with temperatures similar to those on Friday.

However, on Sunday, a front entering through Galicia could bring light rain to the interior and Asturias. In Aragon, Catalonia, and the Valencian Community, morning clouds will give way to clear skies throughout the day.
"Morning mist and fog will continue, especially in Galicia and the eastern peninsula, as well as in the Balearic Islands," Roberto Brasero has forecasted. In the north, temperatures could be less spring-like "due to the arrival of clouds."
While in the north temperatures could drop, in the rest of the country a thermal rise is expected, leading to a spring-like atmosphere. Especially in the northern Mediterranean, where highs could increase by up to 14°F (8°C) compared to today.

Next Week, "Warmer Than Usual"
Goodbye to the cold and frost, at least for the upcoming week. According to Roberto Brasero, next week will be "warmer than usual" throughout Spain. Especially in the central and northern half of the peninsula.
In fact, frosts will be limited to high mountain areas. But the Antena 3 meteorologist has warned that some precipitation may occur. "It's possible that the arrival of Atlantic storms will bring rain to much of the peninsula, more abundant in the western half," Roberto Brasero has forecasted.
Thus, this year, the second half of February seems to be moving away from the winter cold that usually marks this time. At least for this upcoming week, Brasero makes it clear that no more winter-like temperatures are expected.
