Excitement Over What Jesús Calleja Said About His Trip to Space: 'a Bad News'
The adventurer from León, before leaving Earth, has addressed some special words to the so-called flat-earthers.
Jesús Calleja is about to make history and experience the greatest adventure of his life. He is going to embark on a journey to space. Before doing so, he has moved and surprised with some words he has spoken.
In a video where he explains what this special getaway will be like, he wanted to send a very forceful message. He said: "I have bad news for flat-earthers, look at what a huge window I have." Words with which he has made it clear to them that he will be able to see our planet clearly and verify that it is not as they say it is.

Jesús Calleja's Forceful Message Before His Space Journey
Jesús Calleja is about to embark on a journey to space, thanks to the NS-30 mission and inside the New Shepard rocket. This milestone will make him the first non-astronaut Spaniard to reach the cosmos. Meanwhile, he will be the third from our country to take that step, after Pedro Duque and Miguel López-Alegría.
Before his launch, in a video shared on his social media, the Leonese has shown details of the capsule in which he will travel. He has sent a direct message to flat-earthers to the excitement of those who don't believe them and to their surprise. He said: "I have bad news for flat-earthers, look at what a huge window I have."
With these words, he has anticipated that he will observe the curvature of the Earth from space, debunking theories that claim our planet is flat. Additionally, he has added: "I will bring a special camera here. Don't start with the fisheye or that the glass has been curved, no."
Calleja has provided more details about his upcoming space experience. He has shown his assigned seat, number two, and explained: "Here we have a console where they will give us all the flight information: speed, altitude..."
He has also highlighted the onboard communication systems: "I have a speaker and a communicator to talk to control. They will send us information and I will have to check. If I have any problem or anything, I talk to them."
One of the most anticipated moments for Jesús Calleja will be "when we are in weightlessness, you take off the belts and you are like floating. You will go toward the ceiling, so you grab from here and put your feet down here, because if not you escape. And if you want to return to the seat, you have to grab onto things."
However, he has emphasized that his main objective is to contemplate the Earth from space. Here he has again addressed those who say it is not round: "When you see our home, planet Earth, beautiful, blue, spherical, well, you have little more to say. I say it with all due respect."
"Things have to be done with sense, that they are empirical. And I will tell you about this in the section I Was There."
More Details of Jesús Calleja's Space Journey
Jesús Calleja will embark on this adventure aboard the New Shepard rocket, developed by the company Blue Origin. The launch is scheduled for today and will be broadcast live by Telecinco starting at 3:45 PM. The journey will last approximately 11 minutes, during which the capsule will surpass the Kármán line, considered the boundary of outer space.
This brief but significant time will allow the crew to experience weightlessness and appreciate the Earth's curvature. The broadcast will be hosted by Carlos Franganillo and María Casado. It will include the participation of Pedro Duque and Mercedes Milá, who will provide their knowledge and perspectives on this historic mission.
This journey represents a personal achievement for Jesús Calleja and also a milestone for Spanish space exploration. His passion for adventure inspires many to pursue their dreams and to value the importance of science and exploration.
