The OCU Reveals Which Are the Worst Toilet Papers on the Market for Spanish Consumers
Toilet paper is an essential in every household. Although it often doesn't get the importance it deserves, it's a product we come into contact with daily. Its quality can make a difference in our personal hygiene routine.
It's not just a matter of softness or strength; environmental impact also comes into play. Something that increasingly matters to consumers. With so many options in supermarkets, it can be difficult to know which one to choose.
To help us, the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) has analyzed several brands of toilet paper. They have published their list of the worst options on the market. Here we show you the three products that stand out the most, and not precisely for good reasons.
The 3 Worst Supermarket Toilet Papers, According to OCU
The Foxy Compact toilet paper received the lowest score in the OCU analysis, with a total of 62 points out of 100. This product is at the lowest position in the ranking. It is, without a doubt, one of the least recommended.
The Foxy Compact received four stars in most categories: absorption, softness, feel, ease of use, and labeling. However, its worst rating is in environmental impact, where it only achieves two stars.
The Dia Compact, which is also among the worst rated by OCU, scores 63 out of 100. This toilet paper, available in packs of 12 rolls and with a length of 119.75 ft. (36.5 meters), stands out in several aspects.
It receives five stars in labeling, meaning it complies with regulations in a clear and accessible way for consumers. Additionally, it earns four stars in softness, absorption, feel, ease of use, and strength.
Despite these positive points, its rating in environmental impact is only two stars. This aspect, which has caused concern among increasingly environmentally conscious users, reduces its overall score. While it is an economical option, the environmental aspects are not sufficiently cared for, leaving it far from being a completely sustainable option.
The Foxy Mega 3 is another toilet paper that OCU has pointed out as one of the worst, with a score of 63 out of 100. In this case, the product stands out for its softness and ease of use, obtaining five stars in these aspects. However, its rating in strength and labeling is only four stars, while its environmental impact receives a low score of two stars.
Compared to other products, the Foxy Mega 3 is not certified as environmentally friendly, which is an important factor for many consumers today. This toilet paper, despite its softness, doesn't offer the best option if you're looking for a more ecological or sustainable alternative.
