Jenni Hermoso's victimhood: 'I felt afraid to walk down the street'
In Jennifer's statement about Rubiales's peak, there are many headlines she is leaving behind.
Jennifer Hermoso continues to make headlines in her statement. Regarding the controversial kiss from Rubiales, Hermoso has stated that the media impact was very significant.
The player has asserted that since she set foot in Spain she had "television cameras 24 hours a day." Additionally, she continues to declare that "there were people following me" and she responds that she had to leave Madrid with her entire family.

And if that wasn't enough, she points out that "she felt scared in case someone was chasing her." She also assures the judge that she received death threats.
However, these haven't been the only statements from the player. Who, in addition to this victimhood, claims that the kiss and refusing to make a video alleviating the situation had "professional" consequences. That is, she wasn't drafted for the next squad, something she attributes to her refusal to make a video clarifying what happened.
In addition to this, Jennifer Hermoso has also been asked about her interview shortly after it happened. She has declared before the judge that in that interview, where she says it was an anecdote, she was thinking more about the team than herself. And that's why she doesn't give importance to Rubiales's kiss to the player.

The match that made the women's team world champions, but unfortunately the title was overshadowed by the scandal of Luis Rubiales's "kiss" to Jennifer Hermoso.
During her statement, Hermoso began by assuring that:
I felt disrespected. It was a moment that tarnished one of the happiest moments of my life. At no time did I seek that act.
She also emphasized that, after "the kiss" from Luis Rubiales, then president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, she commented on the situation to two of her teammates:
Holy crap, Rubiales kissed me on the mouth.
During the trial, the player assured that she was surprised because "I knew that wasn't normal." When asked about her attitude in the locker room after the victory, she said the following:
We were with music, food, there was a lot of drink and Ana Álvarez calls me because the president (...) wants to talk to me.
She stated that she spoke with Rubiales in the hallway, to try to solve what happened and that she wasn't that serious at that moment. And once face to face with Rubiales, she says: "You're going to get it because you know this isn't right."
It is important to emphasize that Hermoso made it clear that Rubiales never told her how to stop the controversy over the "kiss," but he did ask her to put a stop to the situation.
