Jennifer Hermoso's controversial statements in the trial over Rubiales's kiss

On Monday morning, the trial of player Jennifer Hermoso is being held for the controversial "kiss" from Luis Rubiales during the celebration of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand. During her statement, Hermoso began by stating that:

She also emphasized that, after Luis Rubiales's "kiss," then president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, she told two of her teammates about the situation:

Holy crap, Rubiales kissed me on the mouth.

During the trial, the player stated that she was surprised because "I knew that wasn't normal." When asked about her attitude in the locker room after the victory, she said the following:

We were with music, food, there was a lot of drink, and Ana Álvarez calls me because the president (...) wants to talk to me.

She stated that she spoke with Rubiales in the hallway to try to solve what happened and that she wasn't that serious at that moment. And once face to face with Rubiales, she said: "You're going to get it because you know this isn't right."

It is important to emphasize that Hermoso made it clear that Rubiales never told her how to stop the controversy about the "kiss," but he did ask her to put a stop to the situation.

The player narrates that, in the locker room, when they were celebrating, she is seen with her teammates and commenting on what had happened. Hermoso assures that she was celebrating because they were world champions, very happy and smiling because it is the greatest achievement she had achieved in her life.
