This is the ETA member hired by María Chivite to teach at a Navarrese high school

Allegedly, it's José Javier Oses, a man who has a criminal record related to ETA.

María Chivite has sparked a new controversy. The PSN politician has allegedly decided to hire an individual with a background related to ETA to teach classes in Navarra.

Okdiario has confirmed this, claiming, allegedly, that it involves José Javier Oses, a man with a background related to ETA. Oses was sentenced to eight years in prison for his connection to the terrorist organization. Now, according to the outlet, he teaches young people at a school in the community.

According to the newspaper, Unión del Pueblo Navarro (UPN) has expressed its "absolute rejection." This is in reply to the decision to hire Oses, convicted for his connection to the terrorist group, to allegedly serve as a teacher at IES Valle del Ebro in Tudela.

This is something that, according to the outlet, they label as a "total absurdity." "His past morally and ethically disqualifies him from teaching and being responsible for the educational development of young people."

José Javier Oses was arrested on November 21, 2007, in Pamplona by the Civil Guard. This was part of an operation against street violence that ended with six people detained. These individuals were accused of participating in a series of violent acts committed between 2004 and 2007.

The Ministry of the Interior charged them with placing homemade devices on sixteen occasions. Also, the throwing of eleven Molotov cocktails and the disruption of railways in five incidents.

After his arrest, Oses was accused of belonging to a terrorist organization, in addition to facing charges for the transportation and possession of explosives, arson, and destruction. After nearly two years in preventive detention, he was released on bail on January 30, 2009.

Among the most serious accusations, he was pointed out for having placed a device at the home of the Government delegate in Navarra, Vicente Ripa, in Miranda de Arga. He also had a conviction for disrespecting authority, issued by a Navarra court.

Invited a Convicted for Apology of Terrorism

The participation of Mertxe Aizpurua, convicted for apology of terrorism, in the Anti-Disinformation Days organized at the Ateneo de Madrid has sparked a wave of criticism.

This event, promoted under the slogan "Committed to the Truth," allegedly aims to strengthen the fight against disinformation. However, the inclusion of a figure linked to the glorification of terrorism seems, at the very least, an irony difficult to justify.

Aizpurua, who was convicted for making an apology for terrorism when she directed the magazine Egin. A medium that published content sympathetic to ETA and pointed out possible targets of the terrorist group. She has maintained a political trajectory linked to the Basque left, the political arm of ETA.

Her role in an event that should advocate for the defense of truth and transparency clashes directly with her history. Especially her support for an organization responsible for the death of more than 800 people in Spain.

The government of Pedro Sánchez, which promotes these days, has caused confusion by allowing Aizpurua's participation. Who still hasn't publicly condemned ETA's attacks.
