He was the one who drove him to the PSOE headquarters at Ferraz Street 70 to make at least one of the payments to PSOE.
Álvaro Gallego García has become a key witness who can confirm the payments of 90,000 euros to PSOE's headquarters in Ferraz. The delivery that the businesswoman herself, Carmen Pano, has ratified before the judge.
His name came to light this Tuesday during his statement before the Supreme Court. The Chief Anti-Corruption Prosecutor, Alejandro Luzón, asked the witness who joined her in October 2020. To the socialist headquarters to deliver the money that Víctor de Aldama and Koldo demanded from Claudio Rivas.

All this in a meeting at Aldama's office, located on Alfonso XII Street. This payment, as explained, was a condition to manage the granting of the operator's license to the company Villafuel SL.
Carmen Pano replied by revealing the identity of the person who joined her: Álvaro Gallego. She points out that he was the one who drove her in his car to PSOE's headquarters to make one of the payments ordered by Aldama. Gallego was not a hired driver nor an employee of Claudio Rivas, but a personal friend of Pano.
In statements to THE OBJECTIVE, Álvaro Gallego himself has confirmed that in October 2020 he transported the businesswoman. He also provides details of the model, a white Audi Q3, and the license plate.
He arrived at the socialist headquarters to deliver two payments of 45,000 euros in plastic bags, with a 15-day interval between them. At no time did he leave the vehicle and waited parked in front of the party's facilities.
Additionally, Gallego has also assured that he witnessed the initial delivery of the money at Carmen Pano's residence in Las Rozas, Madrid. He narrates that the cash was delivered to him by Manuel de las Heras García, known as 'Lolo,' administrator of the company RV Global Fuels SL. This company, which declares acquiring oil from six of the seven fuel suppliers of Villafuel SL, maintains a close professional and personal relationship with Claudio Rivas.
As this newspaper previously reported, Lolo brought the 90,000 euros to Pano's home by order of Rivas. Subsequently, the businesswoman and Gallego delivered part of the money to Aldama at his office on Alfonso XII Street.

However, the broker ordered Pano to take half of the amount to PSOE's headquarters without giving further explanations. His only instruction was clear and direct, assuring that they were waiting for her.
