This Is the Crime Anticorrupción Points to in the Koldo Case Over Jésica's Apartment
It also focuses on the alleged cash delivery to Ábalos's former advisor, Koldo García
The Koldo case continues to reveal new information. The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office directly points to the scheme for an alleged bribery offense, due to the use of a house by Jésica, which is said to have been financed by people close to businessman Víctor de Aldama.
Additionally, the stay of Ábalos in a villa in La Alcaidesa (Cádiz) during a summer is being investigated. It also focuses on the alleged cash delivery to his former advisor, Koldo García.

The chief prosecutor, Alejandro Luzón, detailed these facts in a report sent to the Supreme Court as part of the 'Koldo case.' His writing responds to the appeal filed by Ábalos, who requested the removal of the precautionary measures that prevent him from leaving Spain. The same measures require him to appear in court every 15 days and involve the withdrawal of his passport.
Anti-Corruption supports the stance of Judge Leopoldo Puente, who maintains that there is sufficient evidence to consider Ábalos's possible involvement in criminal acts. As an example, he mentions the use by his then-partner of a house funded by people close to Víctor de Aldama.

Furthermore, the Prosecutor's Office highlights other elements that strengthen the investigation. For example, the lease with an option to buy a villa in Cádiz, previously acquired at De Aldama's request. It also mentions the delivery of large sums of cash, allegedly provided by the businessman to Koldo García.
For the Prosecutor's Office, these facts constitute clear indications of bribery. This crime is based on the delivery of favors or benefits to a public official with the aim of obtaining privileged treatment. For this reason, the Public Ministry supports the measures imposed by the judge.
These seek to prevent the former minister from evading justice.
Koldo's Brother's Statement on Jésica's Lack of Computer Skills
Joseba García, brother of Koldo García, tried to distance himself from Jésica's hiring. However, some of his statements support the young woman's version. In the fact that, despite having been employed for almost three years in two public companies linked to the Ministry of Transport, she never performed work functions.
During his appearance before the Supreme Court judge as part of the 'Koldo case,' García explained:
"I called her on the phone, we met in the office, and it was then that I realized she has no computer skills."
Throughout his testimony, Joseba tried to dissociate himself from any connection to the alleged corruption scheme. He claimed that he never received cash payments as a commission, that he did not travel to the Dominican Republic to obtain money. He argued that his entry into a public company was solely because he sent his resume after learning of an available vacancy.
According to what was published by La Razón, when testifying as a witness, Joseba García stated that he had no involvement in Jésica's incorporation. All in the position of the public company dependent on the Ministry of Transport, which was then led by Ábalos.
According to his account, from the Human Resources area, he was informed that if he needed support, he could count on "a resource." "When I found out about it, she was already working at Ineco," he declared.
Judge Leopoldo Puente asked him if he knew the specific functions performed by Ábalos's partner. García replied that she worked from her home and that, precisely for that reason, they provided her with a computer. Currently, the witness faces an indictment in the National Court within the same judicial process.
Joseba García, who joined Ineco in 2019, explained that his work consisted of preparing "security reports," including those related to acts of sabotage in Barcelona. Regarding the activities carried out by Ábalos's partner, he indicated that he assumed she had worked since she was hired and made reports. However, faced with the possibility that she never performed any tasks, Joseba suggested that the company Ineco should provide explanations in this regard.
