Reports on Sánchez's Brother's Work That Raise Suspicions in the Judge

Requires explanations about the lack of digital signatures on certain reports

Sánchez's brother continues to raise doubts. Especially for the judge investigating him, Beatriz Biedma, from the Investigative Court number 3 of Badajoz.

Biedma has issued a ruling, as reported by Okdiario. In it, she supposedly requires explanations about the lack of digital signatures on certain reports, unlike other documents presented in the case.

Additionally, according to the media, she requests clarification on whether they were sent by telematic means that allow verification of both the date of issuance and receipt. Supposedly, there is a possibility that these documents were created specifically to try to legally protect the main defendant, according to the newspaper.

However, these doubts had already existed before, recalling the damning order written by the judge. In the document, Judge Biedma states that "everything seems to indicate that the position was created to be assigned to Mr. Sánchez," she explains. Thus, emphasis is placed on "the unnecessary nature of his functions very soon, as it was not arranged for him to be replaced by another worker during his leave of absence and paternity leave."

This way, it would suggest that Sánchez's brother supposedly accessed his position in the Badajoz Provincial Council through favoritism.

In addition, she points out that "the existing indications of criminality have been corroborated by the investigative proceedings already carried out." The judge theorizes that, from the beginning, there has been favoritism toward Sánchez's brother.

She also points to Juana Cintas, director of Human Resources. Supposedly, she had a "participation consisting of giving an appearance of legality to the administrative procedure that aimed to appoint Mr. Sánchez as senior management staff."

Also "to the subsequent accommodation of his job position to his personal preferences. Specifically, his opera project to which he already referred in the documentation submitted to access the position."

Resignation from his position

David Sánchez, brother of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, has resigned from his position in the Badajoz Provincial Council. This was exclusively reported by Hoy Badajoz.

According to Vozpópuli, the musician has announced his resignation in a letter in which he claims it is a "unilateral" decision.

Sánchez's resignation comes just hours after the deadline for submitting bids ended, leaving the competition for the production of the Young Opera program, which was led by David Azagra, unawarded.

Despite this, the brother remains under the scrutiny of Judge Biedma. That is, Sánchez's brother's resignation "doesn't free him" from the investigation, as explained by El Confidencial.
