In reply to this outrage, the Observatory for Religious Freedom and Conscience has initiated a petition requesting that the municipal government withdraw the poster.

The VOX Spokesperson in Terrassa, Alicia Tomás, Has Been One of the Main Figures Condemning the Image. According to Tomás, the image in question represents "a gratuitous offense to believers," with a clear purpose of "mockery" toward the Catholic faith.
