Carles Puigdemont Calls Junts's Leadership in Brussels after Delay in Congress on the Vote of Confidence
Junts's president, Carles Puigdemont, has gathered his party's leadership in Brussels at a key moment. The decision by the Congress's Board on whether to admit Junts's proposal for consideration has been the origin of the decision. Since this proposal aims to subject the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez, to a vote of confidence, it has been postponed once again.

The Meeting of Puigdemont and Junqueras in Brussels
Junts per Catalunya and Esquerra Republicana have agreed to end the tensions between both parties. This, with the aim of "initiating a new phase of relations that strengthens and promotes the initiative of the independence movement."
The leaders of both parties, Carles Puigdemont and Oriol Junqueras, met this morning in Waterloo. Within the framework of a meeting that sought to stage a détente between the two main separatist forces in Catalonia.
The meeting, which lasted for more than two hours, also included the participation of the general secretaries Jordi Turull and Elisenda Alamany. During the meeting, it was agreed to "create coordinated workspaces to address key issues related to Catalonia's national future and social progress."
It's not the first time both parties have attempted a truce in their relations, characterized by a combination of common goals and constant electoral rivalry. On this occasion, the staging played a prominent role: Puigdemont, at the wheel, and Junqueras, as co-driver, left the so-called House of the Republic. Riding in a vehicle with a symbolic license plate referencing the October 1st coup.
