The new signing of La Sexta who mocked the victims of the DANA

Just one month after his dismissal, the journalist has found a spot on the network

La Sexta has bet on a new signing. It is the journalist Pedro Vallín, who, at the end of last year, became the subject of criticism after his controversial comment directed at all the victims of the DANA.

More specifically, through his social media, he posted a message mocking all those people who suffered the deadly floods that left more than a hundred dead.

It all started with the image of Aldama's document presented to the Supreme Court, and he published a ridiculous message with that photo implying it is a fake document. Like someone forging a school permission slip.

A user replied to that message. "It's a spectacle to watch how the regime's brigadiers cling to any minimal loophole. To try to justify the looting carried out by their admired corrupt politicians."

Immediately afterward, the journalist made the regrettable message. "You're Valencian, stick your head in the toilet and flush. It's called 'domestic dana,' you'll enjoy it."

Without a doubt, a comment that didn't go unnoticed | Redes sociales

Undoubtedly, a comment that didn't go unnoticed and earned the disdain of many after the events that occurred last November 29.

Now, Vallín's entry into La Sexta has been announced, just a month after his dismissal. According to El Confidencial, Vallín has made his first appearance on Al Rojo Vivo, the program presented by Antonio García Ferreras, although the regularity of his interventions has not yet been defined. "The intention is for him to participate frequently, but everything will depend on Ferreras's assessment."

The reason for his dismissal

Despite the comment, his departure from La Vanguardia, the outlet where he previously worked, is not due to the explained reason. More specifically, it is due to "a difficulty in fitting his profile into the newspaper." Some suspect that the reason is indeed due to the mentioned message, although the outlet has strongly denied the hypothesis.

The reaction of the people

Vallín's message has sparked a wave of criticism on social media, where thousands of users have rejected his attitude, accusing him of a lack of humanity and empathy toward the victims.

As expected, social media has turned against the journalist in droves, dedicating all kinds of messages after that publication.
