Judge Peinado's New Investigation Into the Police Director in Madrid
It arises from a complaint by Hazte Oír that recounts several police 'incidents' experienced by the 'Capo Bus.'
The judge investigating the Begoña Gómez case is once again making headlines. This time, it has nothing to do with the wife of President Pedro Sánchez.
Juan Carlos Peinado has summoned Pablo Enrique Rodríguez Pérez, the general director of the Madrid Municipal Police, to testify as a suspect. He does so following a complaint filed by the organization Hazte Oír. In their complaint, the association describes various police "incidents" that allegedly affected the Capo Bus.
This is a mobile advertising campaign featuring images of Pedro Sánchez, his wife Begoña Gómez, and his brother David Sánchez.

So much so that Judge Peinado has summoned Rodríguez Pérez for March 6.
Hazte Oír's complaint outlines what they consider "unjustified harassment" against the bus. They claim it was stopped on several occasions by Municipal Police officers under the pretext of alleged violations of local advertising regulations. In one of the described episodes, several police officers boarded the vehicle and stopped it, citing "orders from Headquarters to locate and stop the bus."
Hazte Oír emphasizes that the purpose of the Capo Bus is not advertising, as it doesn't promote any product or service. Its objective is, according to the document, to raise public awareness about the alleged corruption scandals related to Pedro Sánchez and PSOE.
The complaint directly targets Pablo Enrique Rodríguez Pérez, accusing him of alleged crimes of harassment, malfeasance, and coercion.

Hazte Oír also points out that it was the PSOE municipal group that filed a complaint with the Municipal Police, accusing the bus of inciting hatred.
The organization criticizes this action, considering it an attempt to limit freedom of expression and to hinder the public denunciation of irregularities affecting the Socialist Party.
According to Hazte Oír's version, on November 21, the bus was stopped again by Municipal Police officers. They allege it was for possible advertising violations, leading the association to file a malfeasance accusation against Rodríguez Pérez.
In his ruling, Judge Peinado explains that the facts mentioned in the complaint could constitute a crime. However, he clarifies that the nature and circumstances of these facts have not yet been precisely defined. Consequently, the magistrate has decided to initiate preliminary proceedings and has summoned Rodríguez Pérez as a suspect.
Hazte Oír welcomes this decision by Judge Peinado in what they consider a complaint with sufficient arguments.
