The Move Planned by the Judge Investigating Sánchez's Brother and Awaits Uco

Now they must prepare a report, and from there, the judge will decide her next move.

Sánchez's brother could be in a complicated predicament. Judge Biedma is waiting to learn the reports from the UCO. This document could be key for the magistrate investigating David Sánchez's case to execute her next move.

However, this report could bring a new defendant in the case of Sánchez's brother. The magistrate will study whether to charge Moncloa advisor Luis Carrero Pérez. Everything in the investigation about the employment relationship of the Prime Minister's brother, David Sánchez, with the Legislature de Badajoz.

The judge has replied to the request submitted by the private prosecution, represented by Manos Limpias. They requested yesterday that the testimony be gathered from both the former advisor of the Message Unit of the Palacio de la Moncloa and, again, from David Sánchez himself.

The objective is to clarify the authenticity of the annual reports. The same ones that, according to the contract, the musician had to deliver each year as a summary of his activities in the provincial institution.

However, he only presented these documents when the magistrate required them in the framework of the investigation on February 3, and he did so through Luis Carrero.

Additionally, the reports were delivered in handwritten format instead of following the usual procedure through digital signature, which automatically records the date the document is signed.

This detail has raised suspicions in the magistrate. She considers that most of the reports, composed of just one page, could have been drafted solely in response to her request. Not annually, as stipulated in the contract signed between David Sánchez and the Legislature.

The truth is that it is not the only request they have made to the UCO. Manos Limpias also requests to verify through their handwriting analysis office the real issuance date of the documents that David Sánchez signed by hand. The same ones he presented in the Culture Area of the Legislature de Badajoz only when requested by the magistrate.

Therefore, they request a handwriting study to determine when that document was handwritten.

The Judge's Warning to Sánchez's Brother and His Lawyers After Their Appeal

Sánchez's brother and his lawyers have received a new setback from Judge Biedma. The magistrate has spoken after learning about the appeal filed by Sánchez's brother's defense.

The judge has dismissed the appeal filed by several former high-ranking officials of the Legislature de Badajoz. They appealed several proceedings related to the position David Sánchez held until he resigned a few weeks ago.

However, after this appeal, the magistrate has given a warning to David Sánchez's defense. She has also reminded them that the case is not based on press clippings because there are indications of criminality with the creation of that position.

According to the order advanced by La Razón, it has been explained that the procedure was initiated as a result of a complaint by Manos Limpias. But it states that its continuation has been motivated "by the indications of criminality derived from the extensive documentation. That has been required from the Provincial Legislature and other Institutions, from the testimonial statements" and also "from the analysis of the intercepted corporate emails."
