A Moncloa employee exchanged emails with Sánchez's brother about a project
New revelation in Sánchez's brother's case implicates Moncloa and the Prime Minister's "little brother"
Pedro Sánchez's brother is once again at the center of controversy. When it seems things can't get worse, an even louder scandal than the previous one is revealed. However, this time, it's about some alleged emails he exchanged with La Moncloa in which he's called: "Dear little brother."
As we tell you, the judge handling the case discovered the "affectionate" message that David Sánchez received from La Moncloa. The investigating judge number 3 of Badajoz, Beatriz Biedma, has managed to recover one of the emails allegedly lost or stolen that links to the Palacio de la Moncloa. In the message, sent to David Sánchez Pérez-Castejón, known artistically as David Azagra, the header "Dear little brother" is used.
The newspaper Hoy de Extremadura revealed details of the document this Friday. The same one that was recovered as part of the investigation led by the judge.
According to the content of the email, dated June 2022, a worker from Moncloa addresses David Azagra to discuss a project. The one related to the creation of an itinerant opera that would be presented on both sides of the border.
This finding adds a new element to the internal communications related to the environment of the Prime Minister. This, in a case that continues to generate public interest due to possible administrative and political implications.
The email recovered by Judge Beatriz Biedma includes information about a cultural project called Operegrina, according to the newspaper Hoy de Extremadura. Although the content is not reproduced literally, the message mentions this initiative. This, as part of an effort to promote the operatic genre in the region known as the Raya de Portugal.
The project's goal would be to bring operatic productions to towns located on the Spanish-Portuguese border, areas that usually don't have access to large cultural productions. This approach seeks to enhance the cultural offering in less favored areas, thus strengthening the connection between both countries through music.
