Marta Barrachina Strengthens Her Commitment to Education and Employment in Castellón
The ambitious program includes the execution of 70 workshops during the first semester of 2025.
The Legislature de Castellón strengthens its commitment to training and employment through an ambitious program that includes the implementation of 70 workshops during the first half of 2025. These activities will be carried out in the CEDES Centers, as well as in various municipalities and town councils in the province.
Marta Barrachina, president of the Legislature, has highlighted that this initiative seeks to enhance local talent and promote entrepreneurship, contributing to the creation of job opportunities in the 135 municipalities of Castellón, with special attention to rural areas. "We want to consolidate a solid foundation for a prosperous and equitable future, where training is the pillar of economic and social development," she emphasized.
The workshops are designed to cover a wide range of training needs. They will be held in 35 town councils, 2 municipalities, an Employment Pact, and in the five CEDES Centers distributed throughout the province. The content has been selected based on the demands of the municipalities themselves, which have identified the areas of greatest interest for their inhabitants.
Among the most requested training are logistics courses, such as 'Forklift and Aerial Platform Operator,' and new offerings like 'Smart Warehouse and Logistics 4.0.' In the socio-cultural field, the workshops for school cafeteria monitors, bus companions, and training in basic care for the elderly, including CPR, stand out.
Additionally, for municipalities with support structures for entrepreneurship, training on sustainable businesses, strategies on social networks like TikTok and Instagram, and the application of artificial intelligence in business environments have been scheduled.
The Deputy for Economic Promotion, Vicente Pallarés, has emphasized that these workshops are free and aimed at unemployed individuals, with the goal of improving their employability and adaptation to the current labor market. "We are creating real opportunities, providing our citizens with key skills for their professional development," he noted.
The complete schedule of activities is available on the Legislature de Castellón's website, where the training and employment agenda can be consulted to register for the workshops of interest.
