The Key Piece the Judge Needs for More Charges Against Sánchez's Brother
The noose tightens for Sánchez's brother charged with several alleged crimes
The Case of Pedro Sánchez's Brother Has Affected More Than One. The controversy caused by the judicial investigation against the brother of the President of the Government, musician David Sánchez, has led several workers from the Badajoz Provincial Council to the dock.
The judge handling the case, Beatriz Biedma, believes there are indications that the position held by David Sánchez was created specifically for him. This, by the Provincial Council, which is under the control of the Socialist Party.
New Charges?
The Investigative Court Number 3 of Badajoz has decided not to call, for the moment, two former general secretaries and the auditor of the Provincial Council to testify as witnesses. Those who are implicated in the process of creating the position held by David Sánchez.
However, the magistrate has left open the possibility of reconsidering this decision once new documentation and the report requested from the UCO are incorporated into the case.

Additionally, the judge doesn't rule out expanding the number of people investigated in the case. In her resolution, she emphasizes that the procedural situation of the individuals mentioned by the defense of the head of Human Resources of the Provincial Council will be analyzed later.
The key will be in the conclusions of the UCO, which is investigating the deletion of messages from the director of the Professional Conservatory, Yolanda Sánchez. As well as David Sánchez's connections with several workers of the provincial body.
Once the judge has these reports, she will assess whether it is necessary to take new measures, including the possible summoning of more officials from the Provincial Council as suspects in the case.
This Is How Sánchez's Brother Benefits from Spain While Paying Taxes in Portugal
Sánchez's brother continues to make headlines and continues to stir controversy. The latest points directly to the medical leave that David Sánchez presented at the Badajoz Provincial Council.
But that's not all, let's remember that last week he resigned from his position as head of the Performing Arts Office of the Provincial Council.
Now, that medical leave is generating controversy again. He will benefit from Spanish Social Security while paying income tax in Portugal. From now on, David Sánchez will be entitled to receive a benefit, although he continues to pay taxes in a special way in Elvas.

All after he was granted the non-habitual resident regime of Portugal and holds the cross-border worker permit.
Sánchez's brother's strategy is clear, to file a medical leave that will replace the three months' notice. The period that contemplates the termination of a voluntary contract, for which he should be paid.
