The Key Evidence That Raises Suspicions About Begoña Gómez's Veracity Before the Judge

Before Judge Juan Carlos Peinado, Gómez stated that 'there was never any intention to obtain benefits' with the software.

Begoña Gómez is against the ropes after a new piece of evidence that could be decisive. She requested information from the Complutense University of Madrid about the procedure to register the business software developed within the framework of her chair. However, despite the institution providing all the necessary documentation to both her and her assistant, Cristina Álvarez, the process was never formalized.

Nevertheless, during those same days, Begoña Gómez registered the Transforma TSC brand. She did so at the Patent Office of the Ministry of Industry. According to documents published by OKDIARIO, this procedure granted her the "exclusive right" of commercial use of the brand.

Before this, the Complutense University had warned Pedro Sánchez's wife that the platform belonged entirely to the institution. Before Judge Juan Carlos Peinado, Gómez stated that "there was never any intention to profit" from the software.

The dealings with the university began in September 2022 when Gómez initiated inquiries about the software registration. According to the summary, both she and her advisor in Moncloa, Cristina Álvarez, exchanged emails with officials from the Office of Transfer of Research Results (OTRI) of the Complutense. In response, the university provided them with all the necessary documentation to register the platform in the Territorial Intellectual Property Registry.

On October 6, 2022, the OTRI sent an email to Cristina Álvarez indicating:

"Dear Cristina: As we have just agreed, we are attaching a model contract for the assignment of rights to the UCM. So that the ownership of this work is 100% UCM, as it is a collaborative work with UCM personnel who do have such a link."

Months later, Begoña Gómez seems to be interested in the matter again and the Complutense indicates what she must do. She must fill out the form they send her "to carry out the software registration."

However, the university confirmed, in a letter sent to Judge Peinado, that Pedro Sánchez's wife did not complete this procedure.

It so happens that Gómez did register the software at the Patent and Trademark Office. She made the application on October 10, 2022, that is, a few days after the UCM warned her that the platform was university property. This is indicated by the aforementioned media.

This Is How Begoña Gómez's Advisor's Salary Grew Year After Year

Begoña Gómez's advisor in Moncloa is back in the news. Cristina Álvarez received up to 300,000 euros since 2018 as Begoña Gómez's advisor.

This was communicated by the head of administration and personnel coordination in Moncloa to the judge investigating Gómez. All for alleged crimes of influence peddling, business corruption, misappropriation of brand, and intrusion.

However, in the breakdown of her payrolls, the salary increase is evident. It should be remembered that she held the position of "director of programs of the Cabinet of the Presidency of the Government." This is a position she has held since July 16, 2018.

The documentation sent by Moncloa to the Investigative Court Number 41 of Madrid includes a breakdown of Álvarez's payrolls. From August 2018 to January 2025.

During the last months of 2018, her remuneration amounted to 21,511.34 euros. In the following years, her annual income was as follows:

47,801.72 euros in 2019, 48,350.29 euros in 2020, 48,143.37 euros in 2021, at which time she earned 200 euros less. But in 2022 she received 49,476.56 euros.

The truth is that the biggest increase was experienced in the following years. In 2023 and 2024, her salary increased, reaching 51,117.42 euros and 52,282.64 euros, respectively.
