Judge Carrero's Ultimatum to Errejón and Mouliaá Puts Them Against the Ropes
Judge Carretero, who is in charge of the Investigating Court number 47 in Madrid, has requested the National Police to handle the extraction of the content from the devices
Judge Adolfo Carretero has issued an ultimatum to Íñigo Errejón and Elisa Mouliaá, demanding the delivery of their mobile phones within five days.
This order responds to the need to analyze the messages they exchanged through social media, specifically on Instagram, with the aim of obtaining relevant evidence in the investigation of the alleged sexual assault involving both.
Judge Carretero, who is in charge of the Investigating Court number 47 of Madrid, has requested the National Police to handle the extraction of the devices' content.
However, the order is clear: the agents must focus exclusively on the conversations they had through Instagram, as requested by the popular prosecution. This request was submitted by the Asociación Defensa Integral Víctimas Especializadas (ADIVE), represented by attorney Jorge Piedrafita.

One of the keys to this investigation lies in the absence of conversations between Errejón and Mouliaá on WhatsApp, which has raised suspicions. The judge has noted that there is "no" conversation on the messaging app, indicating that there might be deleted messages.
Hence, it has been requested to study whether it is possible to recover these deleted messages, as they could provide crucial information to clarify the facts.
The judge considers this communication tracing "a very important piece of evidence" to assess the truthfulness of the presented versions. In the judicial process, the versions of those involved are contradictory. On one hand, Íñigo Errejón has stated that the relationship was completely consensual.
According to him, there was no assault, and everything that happened was the result of mutual interaction. However, Elisa Mouliaá has recounted a completely different version.
The actress claims she was a victim of coercion and dismisses the possibility of consent, alleging that she was in a state of intoxication. This contradiction is what has led the judge to request more specific evidence to determine what really happened.

The tracing of the messages is key to corroborating the credibility of each version. For Carretero, the data obtained from the devices of those involved can help solve the case by analyzing the interactions before and after the alleged incident. The conversations between both are essential, as they could reflect whether there was a consensual relationship or if Mouliaá's allegations are true.
The five-day ultimatum imposes additional pressure on those involved. Although the phones will be analyzed by forensic computer experts, any obstruction in this process could lead to legal consequences. In this context, both Errejón and Mouliaá will have to decide whether to cooperate with justice or choose to defend themselves differently.
