This Is How Sánchez's Brother Benefits from Spain While Paying Taxes in Portugal
David Sánchez requested a medical leave with a stamp and date prior to the day his resignation was submitted.
Sánchez's brother continues to make headlines and stir up controversy. The latest points directly to the medical leave that David Sánchez presented at the Badajoz Provincial Council.
But that's not all; let's remember that last week he resigned from his position as head of the Performing Arts Office of the Provincial Council.
Now, that medical leave is generating controversy again. He will benefit from Spanish Social Security while paying income tax in Portugal. From now on, David Sánchez will be entitled to receive a benefit, although he continues to pay taxes in a special way in Elvas.

All this after he was granted Portugal's non-habitual resident regime and holds a cross-border worker permit.
Sánchez's brother's strategy is clear: to take medical leave that will replace the three months' notice period. The period that contemplates the termination of a voluntary contract, for which he should be paid.

His Father's Donation to Use Madrid's Tax Benefits
However, this is not the first time Sánchez's brother has tried to benefit from Spain. This latest move is added to the donation his father also made to him in Madrid. A donation he would use to buy the mansion in Elvas.
He saved €42,600 by paying taxes on that donation in Madrid. Sánchez's brother managed to save 42,600 euros by taking advantage of the tax benefits of the Community of Madrid. This calculation comes from the donation of 240,000 euros he received from his father.
The Brutal Confession of Witnesses That Corners Sánchez's Brother
The resignation from the position at the Badajoz Provincial Council by David Sánchez is not the judge's withdrawal from the judicial investigation. The brother of the Prime Minister remains in the spotlight of Justice as a defendant for several alleged crimes. After the witnesses' statements in the case, he has been left against the ropes.
The witnesses assured Magistrate Beatriz Biedma that they 'almost never' saw the Prime Minister's brother working in his office. Specifically, seven witnesses have a point of agreement in their statements: they did not see David Sánchez working in his office regularly.
It is important to emphasize that the Prime Minister's brother was not authorized to telework. This complicates the musician's situation before the judge, who is making significant progress in the case.
The judicial process surrounding Pedro Sánchez's brother advances with a new day of testimonies. This Friday, Judge Beatriz Biedma summoned six additional witnesses to continue with an investigation that is expected to be extensive.
Among those summoned was violin teacher Nerses Avakimyan, who testified early in the day. During his appearance, Avakimyan admitted that he never accessed the grades after the selection process.
Despite this, the musician stated that he did not feel harmed and doesn't remember having coincided in interviews with David Sánchez. He also explained that, according to his perception, he did not observe any irregularities in the procedure.
This is reported by the ABC newspaper.
