Ribera Grows in Central Europe with the Incorporation of MediCentrum in Prague
This new strategic step reinforces the group's healthcare network in the Czech Republic.
The Ribera healthcare group continues its international expansion and consolidates its presence in Central Europe with the incorporation of the MediCentrum rehabilitation hospital in Prague, through its subsidiary Pro Diagnostic Group (PDG). This new strategic step strengthens the group's healthcare network in the Czech Republic, where it already has the OB Klinic surgical center and two diagnostic imaging centers in Prague and Melnik.
MediCentrum, founded in 1997, is a benchmark in post-surgical rehabilitation and injury recovery, especially in the area of Traumatology. The center has 53 hospital beds, state-of-the-art radiodiagnostic services, and a team of more than 40 highly qualified healthcare professionals. Its specialization in rehabilitation programs for patients with prostheses and complex injuries has positioned it as one of the most prestigious centers in the country.
The incorporation of MediCentrum responds to Ribera's strategy of diversifying its healthcare service offerings and integrating a highly specialized healthcare network in Central Europe. Additionally, it strengthens the existing collaboration with OB Klinic, specialized in bariatric surgery and which has significantly increased its activity in the field of Traumatology, with hip and knee prosthesis interventions, especially in overweight patients.
This expansion will allow for optimized coordination among the group's different centers in the region, offering comprehensive and quality care to patients, from diagnosis and surgery to rehabilitation. Ribera thus reaffirms its commitment to excellence in healthcare and the continuous improvement of its services internationally.
