Puigdemont's 'Fortune Teller' Returns to Television After Junts Supports the Omnibus

The network of televisions dependent on the Legislature de Barcelona will premiere Marcela Topor's program next weekend

New Gesture from Barcelona's Socialist Provincial Council with Puigdemont. This time, his wife has seen how she returns to television shortly after Junts supported the omnibus decree.

The local audiovisual network approved the renewal of the lease for the space where 'The Weekly Mag' is recorded on January 28. This weekend will see the return of the program, presented, directed, and paid for by Marcela Topor. Known for being the wife of Carles Puigdemont, leader of Junts.

This program, which is broadcast in English and has a low audience, features subtitles and is designed to help learn this language. The truth is that its low audience resulted in it being taken off the air before the Christmas holidays. Therefore, it was foreseeable that it would return once these dates were over.

However, the return of this program to the television schedule, controlled by the PSC, coincides in time with the recent approval of the omnibus decree with the support of Junts.

As revealed by Crónica Global, XAL approved the renewal of the studio lease on January 28. Precisely the day after there was an agreement with Junts. The new contract was signed on January 31, for an amount of 31,702 euros, 4,000 euros more than in 2024.

Who Is Puigdemont's Wife?
Their love story began unexpectedly in 1998 during an international amateur theater festival in Girona. Marcela, a theater enthusiast and native of Romania, participated in a theater company called Ludic Theatre. It was there that she met Carles Puigdemont, who would later become her husband.

Despite the distance that separated them (Marcela resided in Moldova while Carles was in Catalonia), their relationship remained strong. The politician traveled several times to Iasi, where Marcela lived, to keep the flame alive. Finally, in the year 2000, the couple married in two different ceremonies: a secular wedding in Roses and an Orthodox one in Romania.
