The Brutal Confession of the HR Chief of the Legislature About Sánchez's Brother
José Ramón Suárez Arias is responsible for Human Resources and Internal Affairs at the Legislature de Badajoz.
Sánchez's brother continues to cause a stir, even after his resignation. José Ramón Suárez Arias holds the position of Head of Human Resources and Internal Affairs at the Badajoz Provincial Council. This Friday, he testified as a witness in the investigation into the alleged favoritism toward David Sánchez, the brother of the Prime Minister.
According to Okdiario, he made statements that didn't go unnoticed. "Normally an administrative position doesn't become a senior management role," something that "doesn't make sense," he stated according to the outlet. The prominent position acquired by the musician, who was allegedly chosen 'by hand,' has been much talked about.
It is important to emphasize that this position was questioned by the judge conducting the investigation, Beatriz Biedma. In a ruling, the magistrate asserts that "everything seems to indicate that the position was created to be assigned to Mr. Sánchez," she explains. Thus, emphasis is placed on "the unnecessary nature of his functions very soon, as it was not arranged for him to be replaced by another worker during his leave of absence and paternity leave."

In addition, she points out that "the existing indications of criminality have been corroborated by the investigative proceedings already carried out." The judge theorizes that, from the beginning, there has been favoritism toward Sánchez's brother.
A supposition that has gained strength for many once Sánchez's resignation from his position as director of the Performing Arts Office became known. Last Wednesday, the news of his resignation was announced, which he claims is a "unilateral" decision.

The resignation of the Prime Minister's brother comes just hours after the deadline for submitting bids ended. Thus, the tender for the production of the Young Opera program, which was under the charge of David Azagra, was left vacant.
Let us remember that the Investigative Court Number 3 of Badajoz is conducting the investigation into the hiring of the Prime Minister's brother. Also under investigation are the president of the Provincial Council and the general secretary of the PSOE of Extremadura, Miguel Ángel Gallardo, along with seven other people. The complaint, which was filed by Manos Limpias, has subsequently received support from Vox and the PP.
