Valencia's Provincial Council Increases Social Aid for Entities and Commonwealths
Interested entities may submit their applications until April 1 through the provincial corporation's electronic headquarters.
The Diputació de València has opened the annual call for aid aimed at private social action entities and associations, with a total budget of 906,000 euros, which represents an increase of 196,000 euros compared to the previous year. This line of grants seeks to support the maintenance and development of social projects in the province, especially in areas such as mental health, aging-related dementias, and the fight against social exclusion.
The Deputy for Welfare and Social Inclusion, Imma González, has highlighted that the budget increase responds to the commitment made with the associations during 2024. Additionally, she noted as a novelty that entities based in municipalities affected by the DANA on October 29 will receive a fixed 3,000 euros as additional support.
Lines of Action
Interested entities may submit their applications until April 1 through the provincial corporation's electronic headquarters. The call is structured into several lines of subsidy:
Associations: Specific projects on mental health, Alzheimer's, aging-related dementias, and neurodegenerative diseases.
Private Non-Profit Entities: Initiatives for maintenance and operation or specific projects in the fields of mental health and neurodegenerative diseases.
Addictive Behaviors: Prevention and intervention programs.
Social Action and Fight Against Poverty: Comprehensive projects for vulnerable groups.
The maximum amount of aid will be 2,000 euros for maintenance and operation, and up to 20,000 euros for specific projects, with 75% of the amount paid in advance.
With this initiative, the Diputació reinforces its commitment to the associative fabric of the province, supporting the work of entities that strive to improve the quality of life of the most vulnerable people.
