The case of the Attorney General continues to make headlines. Now, a new request from the Manos Limpias union puts the Attorney General against the ropes. Specifically, they are requesting a three-month extension in the investigation against the Attorney General, Álvaro García Ortiz. He is accused of alleged disclosure of secrets.

The request seeks to complete pending proceedings. Among them, the processing of letters rogatory to obtain information from WhatsApp and Google to recover the chats deleted by the high-ranking official.

Manos Limpias estimates that the investigation will conclude on March 25, although they note that there are still proceedings scheduled until the 12th of that month and others pending execution.

In their document, they warn that the letters rogatory could lead to new actions that would need to be incorporated within the investigation period.

Additionally, Judge Ángel Hurtado ordered new proceedings to locate the discarded cell phones of the Attorney General. The Supreme Court magistrate continues the search for the missing communications of the Attorney General. This, in the framework of the investigation for disclosure of secrets affecting Isabel Díaz Ayuso's boyfriend.
