Bolaños seeks to destroy confidential documents from his Ministry
The bidding aims to acquire a waste collection service and destroy confidential documents.
Félix Bolaños, Minister of the Presidency, Justice, and Relations with the Courts, is once again making headlines. The Ministry led by Bolaños has announced a tender for the "collection of waste and destruction of confidential documentation" services. These documents may be removed from certain locations.
This is indicated by the Public Sector Procurement Platform, where it has an approximate value of 132,634 euros (approximately $140,000), according to El Debate. It also directly affects 14 Ministry locations, and the aim is the "selective collection at the designated locations."
The "transportation, storage, and classification," the "treatment, recovery, and disposal or destruction, as appropriate." And the supply of "containers necessary for the development of the work," according to the tender specifications.
This tender from the Ministry led by Bolaños makes it clear that "confidential documentation" must be collected "at least once every two weeks."
It is also ensured that the mailboxes or places where these documents will be stored "will be metallic or of rigid structure." It also clearly states about security: "They will have a security lock. They will be placed closed to prevent unauthorized access to the documentation inside."
Additionally, they will be sealed and identified to ensure traceability in transportation until their destruction.
If that weren't enough, Bolaños's Ministry states that the awarded company must have its own means. These must be suitable for executing the Ministry's objective. Furthermore, it will provide the Ministry with as many vehicles as needed to remove the waste.
The Deletions in the Style of García Ortiz
The judge has agreed to new proceedings at the request of the Central Operational Unit (UCO) of the Civil Guard. The clear aim is to recover the missing messages of prosecutor García Ortiz.
This information is linked to instant messaging applications installed on two mobile devices belonging to Álvaro García Ortiz. The same applies to an email account.
This is why the judge has sent a letter of request to the service providers Whatsapp LLC and Google. All to provide all data they have regarding the user Álvaro García Ortiz.
This has been the reply that the UCO has conveyed to the judge after asking if that information from the messages could be recovered.
According to the prosecutor, those messages were deleted by protocol. However, witnesses have assured that there is no protocol related to the deletion of content from his device.
