Alicante Futura Strengthens Technological Training with Its 'Bootcamp' in Cross-Platform and Web Applications
Alicante City Council consolidates its commitment to digital training with the first edition of the Alicante Futura Lab 'Bootcamp', an intensive three-month program that combines practical learning and real projects. The reception has been so positive that all the spots for the first call, which will take place from March to June, have been filled in record time. Now, registration is open for the second edition, which will begin on September 15.
Aimed at final-year students of Higher Degree in Cross-Platform Application Development (DAM) and Web Application Development (DAW), university students, and anyone interested in improving their digital skills, the 'Bootcamp' presents itself as a key opportunity for those looking to enter the technology sector with specialized and applied training.
The Councilor for Employment and Development, Mari Carmen de España, highlights that this program, promoted by the Local Development Agency 'Impulsalicante' within the digital transformation strategy 'Alicante Futura', has the support of the city's network of technology companies. "Our goal is to connect talent with Alicante's digital ecosystem, offering training based on real challenges and a direct connection with the business fabric," she explains.
The program's methodology, based on the hybrid model of Challenge-Based Learning (CBL), will allow participants to work on projects linked to the current needs of companies and public administrations from day one.
With the rapid filling of spots in the first edition, expectations are high for the second call. "The success of the registration reflects the great demand for specialized training in Alicante and reinforces the city's role as a technological and employability hub," De España emphasizes.
Registrations for the second edition, which will take place between September and December, are already open.
