Urgent Statement From Vodafone to Its Customers: More Changes Expected After What Happened
Vodafone presents the data for the last quarter of 2024, where a certain recovery can be observed
Vodafone has recently published its latest financial data, which reflect a positive outlook for the company. This news comes after several changes the company has implemented over the past few months. Among these is the entry of Zegona, a move that is already starting to bear fruit.
The company has indicated that the results obtained so far are satisfactory. They will continue with the internal transformation to offer a new air to the company. This process of change seeks to consolidate the operator's position in the market and continue adapting to users' needs.
Vodafone Values the Data Positively
One of the most notable points of Vodafone's latest reports corresponds to the data for the fourth fiscal quarter in Spain. Between October and December 2024, Vodafone Spain managed to increase its billing by 1.1%. Thus, compared to the 903 million euros obtained in the previous quarter, the company reached 913 million euros.

This improvement undoubtedly reflects the success of the measures implemented so far. These focus on modernizing the company's structure and services.
Regarding the financial situation of Vodafone, it ended the year with a cash balance of 260 million euros and a debt of 3.8 billion euros. These numbers are within the company's forecasts, showing that the strategies adopted are aligned with long-term objectives. The debt remains a concern, but the expectations for the coming months are positive.
Meanwhile, the data related to the customer base also show positive signs. Throughout 2024, it managed to increase the number of users in broadband services. It added 19,000 new customers compared to the previous quarter.
This increase is a clear indication that the improvements in the service offering are being well received by users. However, not everything is positive in the customer area.

Vodafone Gained 21,000 New Mobile Contract Sign-Ups
In the mobile services section, Vodafone lost 20,000 customers in total. This has been attributed to the seasonality of the prepaid market, a sector that experiences frequent fluctuations.
In this regard, Vodafone lost 41,000 lines in the prepaid area but offset this loss with 21,000 new sign-ups in contract services. This data on the growth in contract line sign-ups is especially relevant. It demonstrates that Vodafone is on the right track.
