Vodafone and Orange have to take action: customers are outraged by this

Many users report receiving fraudulent calls from sales representatives of both companies.

Vodafone and Orange are two of the largest and most well-known companies. However, they have recently been receiving harsh criticism from their own customers. The reason is an issue that is concerning many users.

It refers to the behavior of some of the sales representatives of these operators. According to complaints, they deceive customers with false offers and hidden conditions.

This problem has gained significant relevance. More and more people claim to have been contacted by individuals presenting themselves as agents of Orange or Vodafone. During these calls, the sales representatives offer them changes in conditions or improvements in their rates that, at first glance, seem very attractive.

However, when the customers accept, they realize that something is not right, and the deal is not what they were promised. The worst part is that when they try to file a complaint, the operators often distance themselves from the issue. They claim they have no record of those calls.

Vodafone and Orange Can't Look the Other Way

This type of situation is not an isolated case. Every day, thousands of users report on social media and forums that they have received calls from alleged sales representatives of Vodafone or Orange. The worst part is that they know all the customer's personal data and manage to convince them to accept an offer that turns out to be a scam.

Despite the fact that the affected individuals try to contact the companies to explain what happened and solve the issue, the operators don't always take responsibility. In fact, in many cases, they claim that the call didn't come from their commercial network. And that the numbers from which they were contacted don't correspond to any official customer service line.

A customer who recently shared his experience on X commented that he was scammed by a sales representative of Yoigo. When he tried to file a complaint, with the name, email, and phone number of the supposed sales representative, the reply he received was the same as always.

He was told that they had no record of that call. This generates great frustration among consumers, who feel helpless in the face of these practices.

What Should Vodafone and Orange Do?

It is evident that Vodafone and Orange have a serious control problem over their commercial network. It is true that the operators can't guarantee that all agents in their commercial network act ethically. But they do have the responsibility to monitor and audit these practices to prevent customers from being deceived.

The current situation not only damages the operators' image but also generates great distrust among users. They no longer know whom to believe when they receive an offer.

Therefore, both Vodafone and Orange should take action and act more firmly to prevent these situations from continuing. It is essential that the operators improve their customer service channels. Especially so that users can solve any issues quickly and effectively.

Additionally, they should be more transparent in their communications and offer guarantees that the calls and offers made by their commercial network are legitimate.
