However, Vodafone has decided to introduce an exception that benefits some users. It mainly affects those who opt for self-installable fiber.
This installation mode is especially interesting. Instead of requiring a technician's visit, the customer can perform the service installation on their own. This way, one of the most common factors that generate the stay is eliminated: the need for a technical installation process.
If we already had Vodafone fiber previously at home, the already installed infrastructure can be used. In these cases, the company will send a self-installable router, with no additional shipping costs and no commitment to stay. It is important to note that the operator itself will be responsible for evaluating if the installation is possible without a technician's intervention.
How to Benefit from This New Vodafone Option
To take advantage of this benefit, it is necessary that during the contracting, the operator itself evaluates the conditions. Specifically if any technical intervention is necessary. If a technician is not needed at home and the previous infrastructure can be used, Vodafone will provide the self-installable router.
