The strange decision by King Charles III inside Balmoral Castle: nobody understands it

The unexpected move by King Charles III from Balmoral that baffles his own followers

King Charles III, since he assumed the Crown, has never followed traditional molds. He has surprised with decisions that, in a way, have broken some of the protocols or traditions of the past. Unlike other monarchs, his decisions are often filled with personal symbolism, although they sometimes puzzle those around him.

Together with Camilla, he has chosen initiatives that reflect his love for nature and animals. This time, from the heart of Balmoral, he has surprised everyone again.

Royal cookies, but for dogs

From the kitchens of Balmoral Castle, King Charles launched his new venture: handmade cookies for dogs. They are crafted by hand, with natural ingredients and a sweet message. "They've been lovingly made in small batches for your four-legged prince or princess," announces Balmoral's website.

The product is sold for five pounds, in a 2.6 oz. (75 g) package. In addition, collars, leashes, and bowls with the coat of arms have also been put on sale. This detail brings together Scottish tradition and a love for pets.

King Charles III true to his passions

Charles III has not hidden his fondness for animals. This year, he adopted Snuff, a Lagotto Romagnolo specialized in truffle hunting, after almost 20 years without a pet of his own. His previous companion was Tigga, a Jack Russell who was with him since his days with Diana.

Tigga lived to be 18 years old and was an essential part of the Windsor family. Meanwhile, Camilla also chose to rescue Moley, a puppy without pedigree. "He's a bit of everything," she said when talking about her dog adopted from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home.

A gesture that reflects closeness and authenticity

The decision to sell dog cookies from Balmoral surprised many. But deep down, it is a genuine reflection of Charles III's character: natural, approachable, and true to his values. This gesture, far from being an extravagance, is a way to connect with people through simplicity.

The king's passion for animals is now expressed in a detail that has already won over more than one person. Balmoral is not only the royal family's refuge; it is now also the setting for small actions that humanize the monarchy. Charles, once again, chooses to speak through gestures.
