'Arrives Imminently in Spain': Jorge Rey Just Confirmed Where It Will Snow These Days
Snowfalls return to Spain in the coming hours: Jorge Rey clarifies how much snow we can expect and in which areas
The arrival of a new storm in Spain is generating expectations about the possibility of significant snowfall in certain areas of the country. In recent days, there has been much talk about the return of snow, especially for the weekend.
However, Jorge Rey wanted to clarify how much snow can really fall and in which locations, highlighting the differences between weather models.

Jorge Rey Clarifies Where It Will Snow
Jorge Rey assures that the storm "imminently arriving in Spain" will bring with it the possibility of snow. However, the weather models differ on the intensity and location of the snowfalls.
Some models point to significant snowfalls in cities like Soria, León, or Cuenca, and even in Madrid. More general ones, however, speak of heavy snowfalls in the central area of the Peninsula, with some snow also in the north.
The young man wanted to be clear with the population. The data provided by these models is not what is most likely to happen. Those indicating significant snowfalls would not be the most accurate, according to the expert.

The more realistic ones according to Jorge Rey suggest that, although some cities might experience snow, the most significant precipitation will be limited to the high mountains. The Pyrenees could be the main affected area.
As for cities outside the mountainous areas, Rey points out that we might see some snow, but in minimal amounts. "Only a few flakes" might fall, without this representing a significant snowfall.
The Snow Concentrates in the High Mountains
The most notable aspect of this storm will, therefore, be the accumulation of snow in the high mountain areas. The snowfalls will concentrate mainly in the Pyrenees, and some other mountains of the peninsula will also see snow accumulations.

However, it is not expected that the lower cities, even in the center or north of Spain, will experience a situation of heavy snowfalls as had been speculated.
Although a scenario of massive snowfalls in the major cities is not anticipated, it is recommended to stay alert to weather updates, especially if you are near mountain areas. In high-altitude areas, conditions can become complicated due to snow accumulation and the risk of landslides or road blockages.
So, although some forecasts have fueled the debate about the possible arrival of significant snowfalls, it is most likely that the phenomenon will be limited to mountainous territories. In the cities, the cold and snow might be more anecdotal.
