Breaking News from Movistar: They Do Not Deliver on Their Promises to Customers

Many users regret what is happening, as the service they offer doesn't meet expectations.

Movistar Plus+ subscribers have encountered a significant disappointment following the arrival of Apple TV+ on their television platform. Despite previous announcements and the expectations caused by the integration of this popular streaming service, many users feel frustrated. Especially upon realizing they don't have full access to the Apple TV+ content catalog.

Just over a month ago, the Telefónica operator enthusiastically announced that Apple TV+ was coming to its platform. It promised a full integration of the streaming platform's content, allowing users to enjoy exclusive series, movies, and documentaries. 

However, the reality has been quite different. Although the launch of Apple TV+ took place in December, Movistar Plus+ users have faced a limitation. Mainly regarding content availability.

Instead of having access to the entire Apple TV+ catalog, they could only enjoy an initial selection of 37 titles. This partial inclusion has left many users disappointed. They missed other popular hits available on the original Apple TV+ platform but not on Movistar Plus+.

Movistar Only Has Access to Partial Content 

During the first weeks since the launch, some of the most well-known series, such as The Morning Show or Ted Lasso, were added. But Movistar Plus+ subscribers have expressed dissatisfaction due to the absence of other key content. Despite the promise of full integration, the catalog hasn't been updated satisfactorily, causing discontent among customers.

From the Movistar Community, moderators have tried to reassure users. They confirm that the process of incorporating more Apple TV+ content will continue in the coming weeks.

According to reports, the operator intends to add new titles "as soon as possible." Meanwhile, "during this month of January, most of the titles" that are yet to be added will be included.

Disappointment among Movistar Subscribers

What began as a promising collaboration between Movistar and Apple TV+ has ended up being a source of frustration for many. The promise of a complete and updated catalog has taken a back seat. The lack of content has highlighted planning and execution that haven't met what was promised.

Despite the explanations given by the company, the general feeling among subscribers is that expectations haven't been met. Users wanted immediate access to all titles available on Apple TV+. But so far, only a portion of the content has been incorporated.
