A unique opportunity from CaixaBank for university students

CaixaBank has announced that this program will be aimed at undergraduate students who have completed at least 120 credits. In total, the bank offers 59 positions for young people who wish to join its team for six months. Thus, they will get to know firsthand the operation of a leading financial institution in the country.

The registration period is already open and will extend until the next February 17. Interested parties must submit their application through CaixaBank's website, where they can find all the information about the selection process.

One of the novelties of this edition of the University Internship Program is the differentiation between national and regional positions. CaixaBank has reserved 35 positions for internships at its corporate headquarters in Madrid and Barcelona.

Moreover, the entity has incorporated 24 regional positions, distributed across several of its territorial offices. Among the cities where these internships are offered are Barcelona, Bilbao, Pamplona, Valencia, Salamanca, Seville, Toledo, Manresa, Palma de Mallorca, and Santa Cruz de Tenerife, among others. This will allow young people to carry out their training in environments closer to their place of residence without the need to relocate.

The selected students will have the opportunity to participate in projects within different strategic areas of CaixaBank. These include key departments such as Sustainability, Audit, Digital Transformation, People, Media, and Business.

During the internship period, each student will have a tutor designated by the entity. This professional will be responsible for guiding and supervising the young person's learning so that they can integrate into the team. Thus, they will make the most of the experience.

Requirements to participate in CaixaBank's program

To be eligible for one of the positions, students must meet several requirements established by CaixaBank. First, it is essential to be enrolled in a university degree and have completed at least 120 credits. Additionally, candidates must reside in Madrid, Barcelona, or one of the cities where the bank has offered regional positions.

Another essential requirement is the ability to sign an internship agreement with the university, as this collaboration is necessary to formalize the students' incorporation. Furthermore, it will be positively valued if candidates have a B2 level of English or previous international experiences, whether through exchange programs, volunteering in NGOs, or similar activities.

CaixaBank is aware of the importance of students being able to balance their internships with their university studies. For this reason, the program has been designed with a flexible schedule of 20 hours per week. This way, it allows young people to continue their academic training without their work responsibilities interfering with their academic performance.

The start of the internships is scheduled for March 31, and will extend until the end of September. During these six months, participants will have the opportunity to learn in a real professional environment, face new challenges, and develop skills that will be useful in their career path.
