The working life of Alba and Laura, Zapatero's daughters

José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Spanish Prime Minister between 2004 and 2011, and his wife, Sonsoles Espinosa, always tried to keep their daughters, Laura and Alba, away from public scrutiny. During his term, the couple did everything possible to ensure the young women enjoyed as anonymous and peaceful a life as possible.

However, in 2009, a photograph published by the White House, showing the family with the Obamas, broke that privacy. It exposed them to media attention and criticism for their appearance.

After that episode and except for specific situations, the young women managed to regain their anonymity and continued with their lives away from the spotlight. Laura studied a Middle Degree at the SEV School of Communication, and Alba obtained a double degree in Audiovisual Communication and Performing Arts. However, they are now back in the news due to the business success they have achieved with their advertising agency, Whathefav.

Founded in 2019 by Laura along with a friend, this company specializes in marketing and communication within the field of electronic sports, eSports. In March 2023, Alba joined the management of the agency, thus consolidating the collaboration between the sisters.

The bomb information about Zapatero's daughters that has left everyone speechless

Whathefav, based in the Madrid neighborhood of Tetuán, defines itself as a "creative and multimedia eSports agency." Its mission is, above all, to help companies consolidate their brand. The agency has a multidisciplinary creative team and has seven employees.

Regarding its financial performance, Zapatero's family's company has shown remarkable growth. That is the news that has left everyone speechless.

According to Vanitatis, in 2023, this business invoiced €401,000 and obtained a net profit of €105,000, representing a significant increase compared to the previous year. This increase in turnover and profits has allowed the young women to distribute €74,000 in dividends, allocating the rest to voluntary reserves.

In addition to their success in Spain, Zapatero's daughters seem to have decided to expand their business to the international market. In 2024, Whathefav announced its intention to launch a new project in Venezuela.

The trajectory of Laura and Alba Rodríguez Espinosa demonstrates how they have managed to carve out their own path in the business world. Their agency has not only managed to establish itself in the competitive eSports sector in Spain but is also exploring opportunities in international markets. This success reflects their ability to innovate and adapt to current trends, always maintaining a discreet profile and staying away from the media spotlight they once tried to avoid.
