Cold Water from the Vatican on Pope Francis: 'On Sunday...'
Pope Francis's followers closely follow his steps, but they have just received bad news from the Vatican
Since Pope Francis was discharged from the hospital, his health has shown a positive evolution. In recent days, there have been slight improvements in his motor skills, respiratory capacity, and use of voice. All of this has brought some peace to both the Vatican and the millions of the Pope's faithful.
However, many eagerly await seeing him appear again at the window of the Apostolic Palace. This is what he usually does, for example, on Sundays, when he delivers the traditional Sunday Angelus. That's where the disappointment comes in.

The Vatican Press Office has confirmed that this Sunday, the Angelus will not be recited in public by Pope Francis. Instead, the written text of the meditation will be disseminated again, just as it was when he was hospitalized. For now, no appearance by the Pope is planned, not even a symbolic one, which will undoubtedly disappoint many faithful.
Pope Francis Continues to Improve Day by Day
The Pope continues to recover on the second floor of the Casa Santa Marta, his usual residence in the Vatican. His days pass in a routine marked by prayer, medical therapies, some work, and well-deserved rest. Although he is not yet receiving visitors, he is accompanied by a medical team that attends to him 24 hours a day.
He also has his personal secretaries by his side and maintains a fairly active routine. Every day he celebrates Mass in his private chapel, which shows a progressive recovery and his strong spiritual commitment.

The reduction in the use of high-flow oxygenation with nasal cannulas, both day and night, marks a notable improvement. The atmosphere in Santa Marta is positive, especially as it is clear he continues to recover. For example, recent clinical tests have shown normal values, according to the doctors.
Uncertainty About What Will Happen at Easter
Although the liturgical calendar for Holy Week has already been published, there is still no official confirmation about what Pope Francis will do. The Pope's presence at the most significant events of these dates remains an enigma. The Vatican assures that any possible intervention, such as the Urbi et Orbi blessing, will depend directly on the evolution of his health.
Meanwhile, Pope Francis is closely following current events and has learned about the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Asia. In response, he has expressed his closeness and prayers for the victims of the disaster, according to the Holy See. While the faithful await his reappearance with hope, the Vatican's message is clear: the priority is the Pope's health.
